Lighting candles is your way of saying "I'm praying for you". It's also a way for you to help "illuminate" those prayer requests that you think other people should see -- so that they can join in and pray with you.

• You receive candles when you invite your friends to the site. Click here for more information.
• You receive candles when people light candles for your requests.
• Also, whenever someone lights candles after you (for a request that you lit candles for), you get more candles as a special "thank you". In other words, you get rewarded for "illuminating" things that you think other people will find valuable.
• You can purchase candles via PayPal or with your mobile phone. Click here.

There are two things that are important for you to remember:

1. The sooner you light candles for something, the more candles you can receive (because you get more candles every time somebody else lights candles for that same item)
2. The more candles you light for something, the more candles you get when someone lights candles after you.
