Speaking of God's deliverance, Paul declared, "He HAS delivered us
from such a deadly peril, and He WILL deliver us. On Him we have set our
hope that He will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your
prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor
granted us in answer to the prayers of many." Your prayers are making a
difference!

I pray god give you strenght to do what you need to do to lose the weight you want and my advise is ask god to give you the will to eat healthy foods and ask him to take your desire to eat the wrong stuff away, I hope my advise does not offend you because it bothers me when I offend someone and know how you feel when worldly people seem to be prospering more than christians like you and me and pray god god open doors for you and your family

Dear Barbara, I pray that God will be with you and send you special encouragement and energy as you are facing so many challenges at once. I thank Him for the children he has given you and your husband and pray that He watch over them in all the particulars. I pray that He lift you out of your depression and that he open doors of provision for you financially. He is faithful and will help you. I know there are many many good people out there struggling and some unethical wealthy people. Sometimes I look at Psalm 73 where the author says his foot almost slipped as he became more and more jealous of the wealthy, but in the end he found they held nothing and he had the blessings of God. Please know that God has some great things in store for you, despite the curves along the way and the fears that beset each of us. Keep reaching out to him. If there's any way to talk to someone about your finances, often they can be addressed more easily than you thought, but fear and shame keep us quiet so we don't handle them at all and they just weigh on us. They might just have more compassion on you than you do on yourself - I know from experience. I also know God has done wonderful things for so many and I pray that he will take each one of your children and open many special doors for their opportunities. I am no expert, but I remember living in fear of oppotunities for our daughter when she was small and God opening door after door for her in education and in many other ways - doors I did not even know about until they were almost upon me. He is an awesome God. I pray it's His timing to keep revealing that to you soon and with a rush of grace that will make you giddy with amazement for all He has done. Lord lift Barbara out of her depression and give her strength courage hope comfort guidance and peace. Lord we ask you to keep her marriage and her family strong and healthy and safe. We ask you to bless their finances and let them have the money to raise their family, get their kids through school and to be able to retire. Lord watch over these children keep them safe, keep them on the right path, keep them healthy and strong and guide them as they make their way to adulthood. I understand what it's like to be depressed.My husband and I were having alot of problems mainly because of his family.Some saying that my children didn't belong to him.He said that I should just ignore it,but,it's hard to when you live so close to them.I left him and moved six hours away with our two children.My son wants to go back to his daddy.My daughter barely knows her father.She was only 7 mths old when we separated.She was a year when we moved.So,she hasn't got a chance to know him really.The only really good thing about me moving is I am closer to my family.He would move here,but,his uncle really does need him.His grandma isn't in good shape and since her husband passed someone has to stay with her.She's 89?Anyway,I regret leaving because it was only two of his family members.Everyone else knew the truth.One said we should do a DNA to prove it,so,they'll shut up.My husband refused.He said he knew,so,who cares what they think.Maybe he was right,but,my nerves were bad.I nearly lost both of my children,because of them.Now I've been six hours away since December,separated since last August and I don't honestly know how I feel anymore.He says he loves me,but,the problems of the past keep popping up in my head.I want to forget and start fresh,but,I'm scared.What if it happens again?The only good thing is I can't get pregant again.I would love to,but,the docter said I didn't need to.So,I got my tubes cut,tied and burnt.I kind of want to go back,but,I'm not sure I have a way.

The wants you to quiet eating through tha depression and start believeing for amiracle and the lord is coming right on time he said enjoy your life stop looking at the worst that can happen and look what he's going and can do start reding the bible every time u wake up and fall asleep at night when you start find yourself down read the bible listen Godly music and the television set get out start driving around keep yourself busy every possible way that u can and enjoy it its what the lord wants you to do eating like you do can lead to more problems finacial,marriage,more family crisis,hell for you and yor bady,and soul stop eating it's not helping its hurting everyone you love even the Lord u love him don't it yes stop hurting and love the Lord and believe in him .My Auntie be eating out of the depression and she knows whwat God can do but she's not willing you are willing you just need these words and encouragement use the Lord and your family and your weight as yor encouragement the Lord love u.

hi barbara, isnt that the truth it seems like those of th eworld prosper and get what ever they want but we as children of God have to remember our riches are in heaven and when we go to be with him what a blessing that will be. I would rather not have the things of this world that satan offers. God wil sustain you he wont let you go with out, and as far as your depression, God said cast your burdens unto him. I know things get us down thats normal but you got to snap out of it as soon as you realize other wise this invites satan to come in and have his way. when you feel hungry at certain time grab a piece of fruit. It may appear that all is dim, and I do understand your depression, and I would encourage you to go to a quiet place alone and cry out to God. Please believe, don't give up, He WILL pull you through. I am approaching 50 years of age and have fallen victim to the weight gain that is associated with certain body types as they age(most commonly if you were cosidered as a fine piece of GODS craftsmanship in your youth )and it takes much more work to maintain as we age.I know that things are tough for you spiritually right now and you need to be delivered from that spirit of depression.You need to be refreshed in your spirit and strengthened in your faith.GOD has not given us a spirit of fear,so fear not dear prayer partner.GOD has a plan you may not see it but you are walking in it daily.You are the light and support for your husband and children.Bills may come due (give to ceasar what belongs to ceasar)dont concern yourself with that give it over to God you know that he will come up with acreative way that you have no knowledge of to pay it off.Keep a spirit of gratitude about you.I know that it sound cliche' but there are some of your sisters and brothers in christ who have not prospered to the level you have as yet.Be thankful for his wisdom and infinite sense of timing.Remember not to look to the est nor west for a solution (look not at your troubles at all except when you are turning it over to God in prayer)This is a wonderful site! It gives you the chance to ppray about your needs and GIVE by praying for someone you may not meet til you both go to heaven.How does the mission statement go?Marvelous things happen when you share your light!
