I will tell you that fibromyalgia is NOT a mental issue!! Do not let him go on thinking that way any longer! There are many sites online and there are very good articles that explains what it is. I have been living with fibromyalgia myself for at least 10 years. At the beginning my husband thought I was having a drug problem because I was taking these pain pills for no apparent reason and our marriage was in trouble because he didn't understand and I REALLY resented it. Finally, my doctor referred me to a rheumatologist just in case it was arthritis and I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The Mayo Clinic and many, many highly respected doctors, hospitals, and clinics recognize this condition and I suggest you print those articles and show them to your husband. With simple exercise like walking and a non-steroidal painkiller that works (only two small pills a day) I've been able to fight the fatigue and the pain is very minimal. There is a life with fibromyalgia and many support groups. Please don't let your husband go on thinking it's all in the head. That is so disrespectful and unsupportive of him, and you deserve a lot of love and support. Please don't give in to despair and don't give up hope. I am here for you if you need to talk to someone who really understands what you're going through. God Bless you.

Our Father In Heaven,
We thank You for watching over us as we live our lives. We thank You for leading us here so we may reach out and comfort others. We thank You for the many new friends we have made. We ask You to please watch over this special woman as she tries to live with the fatigue and pain. We ask You to shine Your love and warmth upon her. We ask You to touch her husband's heart with compassion and understanding about her condition. We ask You to bless her doctors with Your wisdom and guidance so they may seek the best treatment for her. We ask You to bless her with the strength she needs to live a full and healthy life.
We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen

Yes Dear,

Fibromyalgia is rough inflammation of joints and fibers between bone as I understand it! It is in arthritis family of diseases! And is one of the worst forms of those class of disease other than rheumatoid. All of which is painfully crippling but there are many pain killers out there to help today!

One pain killer that beats them all is the power of prayer and I will be doing that for you as long as you believe and know God has plans for you in His Kingdom! Your new husband needs to talk to your doctor to get the facts fibromyalgia is real and not a sickness made up in the mind!

I shall pray to God that He gives you both the wisdom and will to help one another as one person not two as you were before marriage. Let not sickness make problems for you but strengthen you to be closer in all things and in His ways!

God Bless,
David aka rabbin
