Day # 159 - Bobby is now at Moss Rehab and he's doing great! Every day he walks 50-100 feet on his temporary prosthetic leg. He's eating a lot and can't wait to come home. He still needs to have another surgery-to remove his gallbladder, but it should be OK. He's in some pain from it, so he can't wait to get it out. He's also very depressed right now and very emotional because everything is now hitting him. He is happy to be alive and knows that God has big plans for him, but he's overwhelmed with the fact that he is starting a whole new life and it will be very different and difficult. He also gets very lonely in the hospital. Please pray that these expected feelings will soon pass him and he can concentrate more on his rehab.
He will be moving in with my boyfriend when he is discharged. We are very excited, but there is still so much to do! There is not enough time or money to do the things we need to in order for him to get around safely in the house. We are having a benefit for Bobby on December 8th to help raise money for his new home, hospital bills and anything else he may need in the future. Day #128 - Bobby had a great birthday! Thank you all for his Happy Birthday wishes. He had lot's of visitors, got lot's of nice gifts and was able to sit up in a chair for 4 hours!! He's still not able to keep any food down, though. Please pray with me that the doctor's can find out why he's not able to eat, so that they can fix it. He needs to eat so that he can go to Rehab for his leg.

Day# 119 - he did not have to get the surgery! Thank you god! He had a drainage tube inserted in his gallbladder for now. Once he's eating and strong enough, they will remove the gallbladder. he was able to eat some solid foods yesterday and keep it down! we hope it continues so he can get out of there! Tomorrow is Bobby's birthday! i pray that he has a great birthday with many visitors and lot's of love!!

Day #114 - Bobby's not doing so good. He's having a hard time keeping food down, so he's back on the feeding tube for now. The Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor discovered that he is currently deaf in the left ear. It might not be permanent, but there is a chance it could be. Bobby was taken to The Methodist Hospital in South Philly because he has an infection in his Gallbladder. He was back in the ICU and had surgery to put a drainage tube in his gallbladder. Now he is in a regular room at Methodist Hospital. He's still trying to keep the food down with some success. But, he needs to keep it all down so that he can be on his way to rehab and recovery. He is going to be moved back to Frankford Torresdale Hospital some time this week so that they can operate on his gallbladder. This is a VERY HIGH RISK surgery for him because he and his body are so weak. Please pray that he makes it through this surgery and can start making a %100 recovery. He is very appreciative of all the prayers and support...Please keep it coming!

Day #94 - Bobby had the Trach removed yesterday morning and now he's completely breathing on his own!! Can you believe it?! He's one step closer to Moss Rehab, which means he's one step closer to home!! Today, Bobby has two doctor's appointments outside of the hospital, so he gets to go on a little trip. He's going to an Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor and he's also getting a cat scan.

Day # 88 - Bobby is now off the respirator AND the ventilator!! He's breathing totally on his own now and he ate applesauce the other day! It was the first thing he ate in 80 days. He also sat in the chair again for one hour. He's working very hard with the physical therapist and continues to get a little better every day. He's doing really well and misses everyone. He can't wait to see everyone when they visit :)

Day #90 - Bobby's doing awesome!! Yesterday, he sat in the chair for 2 hours and keeps getting a little bit stronger (and bossy haha) every day. On Wednesday, he ate his first real meal in 80 days!! He had some turkey, sweet potato, cauliflower, apple juice, fruit cup, AND some McDonald's milk shake. He had a little bit of everything and he's feeling good!! Today, Bobby was outside in a wheelchair taking in the sights. This was his first time out in 3 months!! One step closer to a full recovery. Please continue the prayers and support. Day #80 - Bobby's still doing really good! St. Agnes is very aggressive. They take him off of the respirator for several hours at a time, so that his lungs can fight and get stronger to breath on their own without the respirator for good. Yesterday, he spoke his first words in 10 weeks!! He said "I love you" to his brother, Joe. He had physical therapy today and they were moving him around pretty good. He gets a little bit better each day. Please don't forget to pray for him...he still needs it!…

Day # 82 - Bobby's doing great!! He stood up for the first time since the accident!! Physical Therapy continues to work him really hard...he was off of the respirator for several hours again and he's now able to speak! Bobby's working really hard! Day # 75 - Bobby is out of the ICU and out of Frankford Torresdale Hospital!! He was just moved this afternoon to St. Agnes Hospital in South Philadelphia, PA. Their job is to get him off of the respirator and then into Rehab for his leg!! This is great news! He is one step closer to home! He is doing really good, but please keep praying that he does well at St. Agnes! Oh yea - and on Sunday, Bobby opened his eyes, stared at me and smiled!!! It was the first time since June 30th that I saw hime with his eyes open!! It was the best feeling ever!! Thank You God!! and Thank You everyone for all of your prayers!! This truly is a miracle!!

DAY # 68 - Bobby did great with his two surgery's on Monday!! He came out of both surgery's with flying colors! Tuesday morning, Bobby was doing okay. His temperature was up a little, but everything else was okay. Everything seems to be good so far since the surgery. Bobby's getting stronger every day!! He's more awake today and his vital signs are very good...awesome news!! BOBBY (AGE 42) WAS IN A VERY BAD MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT WHERE HE LOST HIS LEFT LEG AND HIS COLON BURST, WHICH CAUSED HIM SEPTIC POISONING AND SHOCK, CARDIAC ARREST, SEVERAL DIFFERENT SERIOUS INTERNAL INFECTIOINS, AND AN INDUCED COMA. HE HAS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 32 DAYS NOW. A DRUG BOBBY WAS TAKING TO FIGHT OFF THE ONE INFECTION ENDED UP CAUSING INTERNAL BLEEDING, SO THEY HAD TO TAKE HIM OFF OF IT. THERE IS STILL ANOTHER INFECTION THAT'S THROUGHOUT HIS WHOLE BODY AND WON'T GO AWAY WITH THE DRUG THAT CAUSED INTERNAL BLEEDING OR ANTIBIOTICS. SO, NOW THEY ARE STARTING TO TAKE HIM OUT OF THE COMA SO THAT HE AND HIS BODY CAN FIGHT THE INFECTION OFF ON THEIR OWN. PLEASE PRAY THAT HE COMES OUT OF THE COMA OKAY, HE DOESN'T SUFFER ANY PAIN AND THAT HE'S ABLE TO FIGHT OFF THIS INFECTION AND LIVE!!!
