Heavenly Father, these children have been through so much over the years. From the loss of a mother and then a brother to the illness of their father, they carry a great burden, and I beg on their behalf for your mercy. Father, please, heal their father and make his heart strong. Please heal him of all pain--physical and emotional--and ease his mind. Please lift any anxieties that may rest on his heart and give him peace. Please Father, give this man a full recovery and let him be surrounded by the love, support and prayers of his family. Please, send angels to his bedside and touch the hearts of all those who are caring for him. Please allow them to treat him with love and gentleness in all that they do. Father, please, give strength and support to his daughters. Please comfort them with your love and peace and hold them together in this time of need. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
