I ask that a prayer be said for my 19 yr old son David,who has been in a correctional faculity for the past 2 yrs.He commited a violent crime against 2 boys while protecting a young girl from molestation.He has an active sentence 8 to 10 years.David took a wromg turn towards the darkness,gave in to peer pressure and simply gave up when his father left us without saying goodbye to his son.That was 7 yrs ago.David has since repented,turned to God and asked forgiveness.He has such a good heart and a positive attitude even now when he recieved the news that his active time would not be shortened.I expected no less,but hoped for the best.Still,I know God has blessed this child so many times and my prayers for him have always been answered one by one.i rejoice in the miracles that God has performed and give thanks each day that he has lifted David's heart and faith.So my prayer now is continueous growth and good health and safe passage for David as he meets his goals and awaits his day of freedom in 2017.May god shelter him from all harm and guide him along his intended path.
