A prayer for a broken heart.Updates
Please send a prayer up for me and the man that I love. We had been together for over a year and had picked out wedding rings and a home, then something happened. I think he just got scared of "forever." Though we were not married, when I agreed to go look at rings, I committed myself to him. I know that he loves me, he's just hurting right now. I waited for months, giving him the "time" he asked for and finally I said that if "time" was what he needed then he didn't need to be calling me everyday. (That broke my heart) A month went by and I heard nothing from him. But he recently called me and we have been talking, (8 hours on the phone in 2 days) but I haven't pushed the subject of us. Please pray for us. I feel this who I am supposed to love. I want what is right for both of us. PLEASE PRAY. God can do anything.
Update - about 1 year ago:
As of today I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks. I spent the last 2 days in serious prayer for a sign or an answer. I still love him, and that for me is a sign. I am not usually the kind of person that can wait around, but something in my heart says that I shouldn't give up just yet. I know that with God anything is possible. I found out he still carries my picture in his wallet and my letters and pictures are still up in his room, so he hasn't let me go either. Continue to pray for us. We make a great couple, I never knew I want to give someone that much of me, until I met him. He's wonderful person, with a beautiful heart. Your prayers have already ment so much. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY. thanks!
Update - about 1 year ago:
I hate to ask again and again, but we need prayer. I get sad sometimes, I miss him. But there are moments when I KNOW that he's the one. I am really trying to keep praying because I don't want false hope. But I still feel him. Is that crazy?? "Love never fails" ...How far does that reach??

I know the desperate feelings of a broken heart all too well, that's why this prayer caught my eye and I'd like to pray for you. I Pray that he IS the one God has chosen for you to love, it's hard setting your heart and soul to someone that wasn't meant to be with you. I Pray that you get good sleep instead of sleepless nights with racing thoughts of him not being there. I Pray that your heart is light and the tears be kept at bay. I Pray that he comes around and God helps him to realize the love that awaits him. I Pray God touches both of you individually and brings you together on the same path. All these things I pray for you in Jesus' name...AMEN!
