I want to thank you for your prayers for my son & his wife. I ask God to be with your son as he travels in the worldly ways. I pray Lord that You will watch over him & I pray he heeds Your word before any other incidents happen. Let him know that you are still there with him and help him to do Your will. Hello Barbara , it fir some reason is so uncool if these kids do not go along with the drinking in college. If they knew what it does to thier brain cells and how it effects their school work and how satan does not want them to succeed so he lures them in to alcohol... I pray that your child eyes would be opened to the truth about alcohol and about the truth in friendships and what real friends really are to each other, not drinking buddies. I pray that the stress of college work be removed from this child and that he find pleasure in some other area. I pray that every time dear precious Lord that He puts alcohol to his mouth that he gets so sick that he never wants this again, until he stops. I pray that you protect him and give him the strength to say no... Holy Spirit do a work of conviction in him.. Arrest the spirit of destruction and I pray that he is lead in to a friendship that leads him back close to the Lord as well as service in to the church.... Help this mother to be strong and to pray scripture over her child as much as possible. Give this strong willed child a good spanking ! Protect him and keep him from the devil..

Barabara, Psalms is good to pray for him.. psalms 35... and there are others as well... that are so very good in Psalms. I have the Rainbow Study Bible King James, so it tells you at the top the verses of Protection. I hope to hear from you soon with good news. God is not a God that wants bad things to happen to us to turn us back to him. We choose those things, but when we choose our own will and do not listen to God , He* God * allows our will to reap what we sow... You are right there. Our God is a God of free will...

Dear barbara 1234 i am also in the same condition. My son is born again when he was in 7th class. He loved Jesus so much he .use to get ist prizes in sunday school. He was jealous for jesus. But when he came to degree he lost all zeal more friendship, smokes, drinks, girl friends that too heathen girls. I am facing lot of problems. But i take my son to jesus in pray daily i am plead lord jesus to speak to him. I will not miss a single day to pray for him. Mothers prayers are answered.[you please readmatthew 20 chap,verses 20 to23. In this verse i understood that jesus answers mother prayers. so dont loose hope. And an other passage in mark 18 chap verses24 to last. Yoou read and encourageyour self .

One more spiritual truth, is the nature and shodows of parents and forefathers will work in our children.Our children are innocent . wantingly they dont get involved.But the darkness make our children to do like that. so Mother dont worry there is deliverence for your son . You repent for your sins and for hte of the parents and forefathers of bothsides. I am presently praying in the same may. I too will prayfor your along with my son. Because i know the seriousness of this burden. let me know your sons name. pray without ceasing. If i have hurt you by this counseling please forgive me.

We praise you Lord for the gift of a child in Barbara's life. We lift up this child Lord to your loving arms and pray that you would work healing and softening in his heart. Father your word says teach a child the way they should go and they will not depart from it, even though this young man has become a prodical, you are in control, you have him in the palm of your hand, under the shadow of your wing. I speak against the spirits of rebellion, alcohol, drugs, unworthiness in Jesus name, you will surrender their son and he will be what he has always known to be, For greater is he that is in us than the one that is out in the world, send earthen vessels his way as he is out in this world, we thank you for the protection and the grace and mercy you will show him...in Jesus name amen.

God is a mercyful God. He hear all of our prayers and he will wipe away all our tears. All God wants us to do is stand still and watch his mighty right hand at work in our lives. Place your son at God's feet. Give him back to God so that God can work with him and through him and he will be returned back to you like gold.
