He is gradually getting better. He had a breathing tube, but this past week that has been removed. They have him on a CPAP and he is doing fine ! He is more stable since this started and we all give God credit for that. Thank you so much for your prayers. They are truly appreciate. God will do a wonderous work in this man, we all believe that.I will keep you informed !

Our pastor is having trouble with his lungs and his breathing. He is back on the breathing tube. They have something they are going to try on him to help make the breathing on his own work. He has an infection in his lungs now, it has turned into pnemonia. They are working on it. We continue to have family and church staff to go see him when allowed. The hospital staff is still amazed at how well he is doing. The church knows he will do well thanks to all the prayers.

Our pastor is doing about the same. He is doing well, but it is a long haul for him, he still needs prayers please !!!!

He's still doing well, he loves when someone comes over from the church office who can sing to him, they also read scripture to him. It is always very encouraging. They are letting people of the church say "HI" or read from the Bible for 1 minute. It is going to be taken to him in a week or so. I suggested to the photographer, who's a friend of mine, they need to do something wit the children.....pastor LOVES the children ! I think he's going to try and do that too now !

GOOD NEWS !

This is from our Bulletin from church last Sunday October 28, 2007

He isn't considered critical now PTL !!!! His room is no longer isolation. He is still in ICU due to the infection in his lungs. They started him on a new antibiotic.PLEASE pray that this medication be effective.
He is also starting on physical therapy which will include sitting on the edge of the bed PTL !!!

Two Primary Prayer Focus Needs Are :

1. Pray against the "cycle of infection" that has been present in his lungs.

2. Pray that his need for the ventilator will continue to become less and less until it is no longer necessary.

Thank you for being part of the "prayer army" during this time of challenge.

I appreciate all your prayers for our Pastor. He was getting much better, but today his heart stopped and he passed away. He is not with us anymore, he is in heaven.

Please pray for his wife, sons, and their wives and children....they all love him so much !

Please pray for the church ! Pray for the Leadership, the staff, the people that attend there. We've held ourselves together throught this, believing he would be back. Pray that we will keep ourselves together even though he will not be back.
