Friend and Mentally Ill Wife Divorcing
I have a friend named Tom facing a situation which has pushed his marriage to the breaking point. His wife Christy has some kind of hormone imbalance problem among other things perhaps that causes great bouts or surges of depression and anger. They have been struggling with this for some time now but keeping it a secret. They have no children, she has not been pregnant, so we can rule out PPD. She seems perfectly okay at times, but at other times, she just breaks down and is completely disfunctional. She jus thas major meltdowns sometimes and they are becoming more frequent all the time.
It's not quite manic depression, she's not Bipolar really cause she doesn't have those temporary emotional highs. It's just more like depression, and sometimes violent outbursts of anger. Tom says that sometimes he can see it coming on, but sometimes not, and she'll just lash out at him. He's begun fearing for his life that someday or night while he's sleeping she'll either do harm to herself or to him. They've seen some of the best doctors in the field of human hormone study and psychology and they haven't been able to figure it out.
So please send as many prayers as you can to God for them. It might be too late to save their marriage(maybe not, I don't know)but the most important thing is Christy's mental & emotional and spiritual health. Obviously she doesn't want to go through this hell on earth, but she has been privately for years. If Christy can be healed, then they can be together again. She needs help. They need help. So send many prayers and candles lit for them please. I'm using up the last of mine that I can afford right now.
Just got more info recently about Tom & Christy's situation and I have doubts that trying to save their marriage is in their best interest. For them to stay together in that house would be very dangerous for either one. I don't have time to go into a lot of detail right now, but Chrsity s losing it more & more often. In spouse abuse cases, it's most often that the man is abusing his wife. But in their case, it's her attacking and threatening Tom. It is an understatement to say that Christy is mentally ill. Very often she's had to be locked up in the hospital mental ward with restraints to keep from hurting herself. These vicious cycles of calm, then paranoid & delusional behavior, then violent behavior towards everyone including herself, then profuse apologies to everyone and "honeymoon phase" has made life hell for them all. She has falsely accused Tom of cheating on her, of abusing her and many other things. These cucles are growing more & more frequent despite doctors' best efforts at treatment. She has physically attacked him at home, tried to run him off the road, attacked him as he tried to flee one of her rage filled outbursts, and falsely accused him of physical abuse which has wrecked not only his personal and business life, but also his reputation and good name overall. And she doesn't take the medication prescribed for her. I thank God they didn't have any children because I'd hate for any of their children to inherit their mom's chemical imbalance causing her to go crazy. They need lots of prayers please!

marritage, I pray that You cover this family in Your blood. And

In my opinion Christy should be evaluated by a primary care physician to diagnose her condition and recommend treatment or referral to a specialist. Lord permit Tom and Christy with wisdom and permit Christy to be evaluated by a physician, we ask through the name of Jesus, Amen

Lord you can help where meds, doctors and therapist cannot. Father we ask that you send a great miracle for Christy and Tom. They are both at the breaking point Lord. Please God touch their hearts and minds. Bring them to you. Surround them with godly friends that will help them realize you hold all the answers. That you can heal Chrisy's mental state and give them both peace. Let them look to you Father in hope, faith and trust. In the name of our savior Jesus. We praise you God for your goodness and mercy.

Dear Lord, We pray most fervently for healing for Christy. Please calm her thoughts and drive out any evil overcoming her. Help her to stay on her meds. She is in such pain and turmoil Lord, please come to Christy's rescue. We pray also for her husband Tom.
