TODD NEEDS LOVE AND PRAYERS SENT HIS WAY
My friend of 8 years suffers from depression and bi-polar. The fall and winter seasons are the worst for him. He tries to self medicate with alcohol which makes it worse. Please pray for him to find the strength to get help and to find peace in the Lord. He has a strong Christian background but when the cycle of depression starts, it's a downhill slide. Also please pray for him to start to focus on What's Right instead of the negative. I think you can train yourself to look on the brighter side. With everyones prayers he will be lifted up. Thank you so much.
Update - about 1 year ago:
Thanks for all your kind prayers. These last 4 days have been a blur. Very hard to watch my friend detox. He's on medication that helps cut the desire to drink (I thank God truly for the medicine and the fact that he wants to take it) All in all he did fine except for one slip this afternoon, but he still feels positive about his sobriety. Please keep paying for Todd and I guess for me to keep up the strength to deal with this. Thanks again for all your loving thoughts and prayers.

God always teaches us something valuable through problems” “when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23”10) This is what I've been telling myself, look at every test in life as God's plan for us to grow spiritually & as a person. Just continue believing in God and believe he will deliver Todd from this test, because trust always leads to deliverance.
I pray for God's work of miracle to heal his depression & fill his heart with your holy Spirit & love. God please comfort Todd when you working to restore his health & give him strength & patience to wait upon you. And please bring him love & happiness in abundance in his life. In Jesus name I pray. Father God we place Todd at Your feet and ask that You would be his guiding light. Father please remove any and all negative thoughts from his mind and heal him Father from depression and bi-polar disorder. Father remove Todds desire to use alcohol to self medicate and replace that desire with a desire for You. Father Todd is Your son and we ask that You remind him everyday of Your Fatherly love.
