You are our healer, heavenly father pour your healing water over this young man as he lay in the hospital. You know exactly what he needs direct the doctors to do all that is necessary to help restore health to this body. All that you ask is that we cast all of our cares on you, so I lift up this family and ask for your comforting hand and peace to fill the familiy's hearts and homes. Bless each and every family member having to be troubled by this hospitalization. Amen

O Lord, You give us our every breath. You know how we are made. We are but flesh with Your spirit inside when we are fortunate enough to know You. You know our needs and weaknesses. You know how much we can bear. We come to You asking for help and physical healing for Jared, and for Nichole's boyfriend Nathan. Please support him with Your love,
supernatural strength, and peace. Help him to not feel as if he can control the situation. It is when we try to control things instead of submitting our concerns to You that the draining of our strength comes. Nichole, I know this to be true in my own life, as I deeply care for a man who feels at this time he "cannot give me what I need" because he is consumed with so many cares and concerns that pull on his energy. I pray for Michael as he seeks God. He told me before that he believes in God, but he is at a point in his life where he is evaluating so many things and trying to get his act together. I pray that Nathan will surrender his cares to God so he can rest, and you both can be there for each other. And I pray also for you, Nichole, that you will be strong for him and everyone else in your life that needs you. Just keep drawing on God and nourishing your own strength and happiness. Bring as much of God's presence into your own heart so it can multiply as you share your words with them. Speak words of life and faith into the lives of Jared and Nathan, and we pray in the name of Jesus for those words to take root like seeds on fertile soil. Words are powerful. (I love a book called Molecules of Emotion-- makes us realize just how wonderfully made we are, and the power of our words and thoughts to create more of what we say and think!) God will give you the wisdom as to what to say when the time comes. He is always ON TIME! I pray for God's wisdom to rest upon you like a pillar of fire in the night sky as you minister to those you care about, and that God will especially show himself to Nathan and Jared.
