My dad just got word that his brother had a major stroke. My Dad is 80 and not in great shape himself, but he feels compelled to go see his brother in the Philipines. Much too far a journey for a man his age. His brother has a clot in his brain and they will do surgery. He can't move but is able to speak and voiced that he didn't want my father to make the journey, knowing that it is too harsh for an aged, sick person. I am asking everyone to pray for a complete recovery from the blood clot so that my uncle can continue with his life and I am asking that my father have the peace in knowing that even though he is far away, he can still give his brother the support he needs and not to have feelings of guilt. It hurts too much to have my father agonize over something that he can't help. I would take any burden from him if I could. I know prayer can help to comfort all concerned. Thanks for your prayers.
