HE DID ANSWER!!! NOT WHAT I HAD HOPED FOR, YET HE ANSWERED. Prayer Answered
My mom has been in critical condition with pneumonia since May 7th of this year. Everytime the antibiotics are discontinued the pneumonia returns. She has it in both lungs and has now been placed on a ventilator as well as a trach. It is so hard watching this hapen to my mom. She is such a loving and caring person. Even in her present condition she still worries about her family more than herself. Please pray with me that the Lord removes this illness from her and return her home to us soon. The pictures that I've put on here were taken almost within days of each other.That is how suddenly this illness came on and is trying to take her life. The doctors gave up on my mom almost from the very beginning, but though God's grace and mercy and the power of prayer she is still fighting...
Update - about 1 year ago:
Today is day 6 since I came to this site requesting prayer. You all have sent up so many sincere and heartfelt prayers. My appreciation is greater than any words can ever say. I went to visit my mom today and she looks so much stronger. She looks like a miracle. I Praise God. The doctor say's that she is holding her own since he discontinued the antibiotics two days ago. I ask that you all continue praying that the pneumonia stays gone. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Update - about 1 year ago:
Today 10-3-07 My sister just called me from the hospital and says that my mom is not doing good. It broke my heart.Hit me like a ton of bricks in my stomach. However satin will not win, he will not steal my joy. My mom is healed and by the authority of Jesus Christ she will live and not die! I'm adding all my remaining candles to this request this day. I don't know when I can buy more so if you all don't see this request illuminated for awhile, just continue to pray for us because we are still here, standing in the need of prayer. I just ask that you are all blessed with each prayer request that you have sent up for yourselves as well as others. Thank you all for being there and PLEASE keep us in prayer, Dee
Update - about 1 year ago:
I wanted to thank each respond individually, But you all out did me. I had so many people praying that for now I'll thank everybody at once. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. My mom is feeling much better today. Yesterday she came down with a fever and usually that means that the pneumonia has returned, But Thank God today, no fever. She seems comfortable and she is responding to commands.I can't say thank you all enough times, But most of all, THANK GOD. We don't know what tomorrow holds but then that's for the well as much as the sick. So for today I'm gonna hold on to my mom and love her like there's no tomorrow. I love you all...Dee

Thanks to all that has taken the time to earnestly pray for my Mom. On November 1st at 2:48pm the Lord took her home. Please continue to keep my family lifted up in prayer...Thanks, Dee

Dearest Dee, I am so sorry that your mother died! I just read it now what happened lately. It must really have been a very sudden illness which hit your mom so hard. You were the very first one who replied to my request, my dear, I never forget it to you!
