This email is from my blessed sister Linda please let her know you are praying for her & her husband of 40 years. FROM Linda Dear Friends and Family, This is a very critical time in Garlands's life. I humbly come to you requesting you to join me in prayer for Garland (where two or more are joined in Jesus name he will be also). Garland went into the hospital May 14, he was very sick with an infection. Praise God he recovered and is doing well at this time. The Facts are as follows, the leukemia has returned, Garland's heart has been damaged by the chemotherapy and is now functioning at only 15%. To survive Garland needs a bone marrow transplant. The doctors give him a 10 to 15% chance of living through the transplant process. The doctors have told me "we'll try to get him out of the hospital alive". Garland is now receiving high dose chemotherapy, and immune suppressant drugs so him body won't reject the donors bone marrow. Monday June 11, Garland will undergo total body radiation treatment to eradicate all of his own bone marrow, following that on the same day he will receive the bone marrow transplant. Then we wait and pray that the transplant is a successful and Garland recovery without serious complications.
Now the TRUTH, we know Our Almighty God can heal Garland. He has brought him this far, and I praise his name for it. Garland tells everyone that love and prayers have brought him through these difficult times. And I truly believe that. God has blessed us now with a 27 year old young man who is donating his bone marrow for Garland. He is a 9 out 10 match. Garland's doctor and nurses are praying for him, what a blessing. But God has also blessed us with each one of you as well, and each of you are just as important to us as the donor, the doctors or the nurses. Please continue to lift Garland up in your prayers, if you know prayer warriors, friends or family to join with us in prayers please ask them to do so or forward this e-mail to them. I want God to hear Garland's name over and over again asking for healing. Because as we know GODS WORDS "BE HEALED" will beat all the odds. From the bottom of my heart I thank you so much for all you have done for us. We are truly grateful for your kindness and caring.
