SAN DIEGO -- Two people were killed early Sunday morning following a fiery crash in the Southbay, reported 10News.

The victims were on their way back from celebrating their friend's final day in the Marine Corps.

The driver lost control of the vehicle when he tried to make a last minute maneuver from Interstate 805 onto the 905, reported 10News.

The car went off the road and slammed into a tree.

Friends inside a car that was following them were able to pull three people out of the back seat, but the two victims who were in the front were trapped in the fiery wreckage.
