What is in our hands? In a sense, our lies are in our hands. We choose whether we'll squander the hours, days, weeks, months, and years in our own pursuits or if we'll live an obedient life that's useful to Almighty God.

We will be surprised at what the Lord will accomplish in us and through us as we obediently do what He asks.
What's in your hand?

Dear Lord, please be with this mother as she seeks Your help for her addiction. Heal her Father, both mentally and physically, and give her the strength, confidence, comfort, and faith that she will need in the days to come, so that she can return home to her son and be the mother that You and she both desire her to be. Dear God Please help this dear lady. She needs your help, please strengthen her and take away the desire for alcohol. Please be with her son and bless those who are caring for him. Dear Lord we ask you to dry up this mother's thirst for alcohol. Lord we know that you have the power to heal any and all addictions. Lord I lift her to you along with my husband. Lord give them both the strength they need to turn away from alcohol and to turn to you instead. Amen

Lord, I pray that you would be with your daughter as she goes for help. Open her heart to your love. Give her strength to overcome. Lift her up and guide her. Let her know that she is not alone. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

I attend AA meetings almost every night. Most people don't realize how hard it is to walk away once we have a problem. They think it is a matter of "will-power" but it is not. AA has helped me realize my problems and taught me how to recover. Recovery through AA is admitting you are powerless over alcohol and completely turing your life over to God. Every night we sit and talk about our trials. What alcohol has did in our lives and what we have to live for now. Our new life with God! It has really become a God-given gift for me. I hope you find yours! God bless you.

father in the name of Jesus I come to you on behalf of rchysmom who is crying out to your for help. For your are our present help in the time of trouble. Lord this alcohol is a stronghold over her but God you are more powerful and stronger than any addiction that may try to overtake our bodies. We rebuke Satan in the matchless name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this vessell shall prosper. Lord I pray that alcohol will become like a sour taste in her mouth to the point where she can't stand to see it smell it and definetly not want to have a taste for it in her mouth. Your word says blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness. This woman is confessing her sins unto you father for you to wash as new as the freshly fallen snow. Lord, thank you for my new friend, rchysmom, and lay hands on her in the way only you can. So many people do not understand addiction, and they look down on others, as if it could never happen to them. Addiction to anything is a terrible, disabling thing, and is as a lion, stalking you as you go every step. Let her know that recovery is a daily way of life, for the rest of her days here on earth, and that it's not about how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up. Jesus, take that cross of addiction from her, right now, that she might testify for you. Amen!
