HELP TO QUIT SMOKING Prayer Answered

Please pray for me that I can stop smoking. I currently have bronchial pneumonia. This is on top of COPD and asthma. I have smoked for 35 years and am in need of all the prayers I can get to stop before it kills me. Thank you to all who will pray for me.

Update - 4 months ago:

I have quit smoking as of November 21, 2007! Thank you God and all those who helped me by praying. I begin this new year smoke free. Please continue to hold me up in prayer so that I don't fall and start back. Thank you all . All p[raise be to God our Father.

Father, I pray for you to be with this woman. Nicotine addiction is so hard for us to quit. Father, I pray that you would strengthen her mind, comfort her heart and help her to place her trust and cares upon you. Father, give her a way to beat this addiction. In Jesus name, amen.

I pray that you can do it. I watched my dad suffer a horrible death from lung cancer in 2003. His last request to me was to quit smoking. I did quit with Welbutrin (prescription medication) but started back after i ran out 3 months later. Currently I am praying for myself also and I am on the patch. It makes it better but it is not at all easy. God bless you! Good luck!
