Thank you for all the e-mails and prayers. We just returned from D.L. McWhorter's office and was advised that the final custody hearing for Olivia and Jackson has been postponed til December 15th due to Keith Taylor's attorney, Roger Smith has had two back to back murder trials and had requested the continuance thus giving us more time to prepare and for some of you more time to arrange for the physical support you wish to provide. Glory to God. Please pray without ceasing. We love you all.

Dear Family and Friends,

After checking the calendar and seeing that Dec. 15 was on a Saturday we contacted D.L. McWhorter's office and was advised that the final custody hearing for Olivia and Jackson will be on December 14 2007 at 9:00 A.M. The court date scheduled for October 15th still stands and a decision on the new meeting place to exchange Olivia and Jackson will be decided on that day. We also have requested that D.L. McWhorter file contempt of court against Keith Taylor for not exchanging the children on the court ordered dates. D.L. states that if it happens again that we will file contempt due to it cost him $300 each time he does that and if we do not win that we would owe him another $300. Bekki reminded D.L. of the three most recent reports to the Lawrence Co. Police Dept. that are logged at the Sherriff's office in reference to Him stating "if we do not win" and his response was that we would wait until after the new meeting place was decided on and it was "more clear" as to where we are supposed to meet (as if the previous court ordered meeting place doesn't exist). These are the types of things that we deal with continuously with D.L. McWhorter. Thank you all once again for your emails, phone calls, words of encouragement, scriptures shared, prayers and love.

NEW LETTER

Dear Family and Friends,

Hello all. The Tackett family comes to you in a time of need today. The final hearing for custody of Olivia and Jackson is Friday December 14, 2007. This is a court battle that has gone on since March 3, 2006. During this time Olivia and Jackson’s father Anthony Keith Taylor has retained Attorney Roger Smith to press outlandish charges against both Bekki and myself. Together, Roger Smith and Keith Taylor have lied to and manipulated the court on several occasions. We began with Attorney Peggy Lee from Legal Aid in June of 2006. During the time that she provided legal council in this matter, Keith was proven (in court) to lie about Jackson’s enrollment in school and medical care stating that Jackson’s doctor had named a specific school in South Point that he must attend and that both Olivia and Jackson were enrolled in the Lawrence County School System at the time of the residential custody hearing. We believe that based on these lies and Roger Smith’s political relationship with the court as the son of the former Mayor of Huntington and based on information from the prosecuting attorney in Ironton that Legal Aid is always looked down on due to the fact that they have continuous lawsuits against the court that Keith was given residential custody of both Olivia and Jackson.

On December 26, 2007, one of many occasions that Keith refused to allow Olivia and Jackson to have there visitation time with us, we sought advice from Ironton’s prosecuting attorney who had advised us that we were almost guaranteed not to win with Legal Aid, we decided to take all of the money that we had and spent the day walking around Ironton to hire an attorney. We gave $1,000.00 to Lambert, McWhorter and Bowling hiring D.L. McWhorter who from that day promised that things would turn around and that we would see things judged fairly in court. Since then we have had approximately 6-7 court dates and D.L. has spent approximately 20 minutes of his time with us, always patting us on the back in court before we walk in saying, “Just let me do all the talking and things will be fine.” each time falling more behind and watching as Keith gains another victory and continues to call the shots.

In August 2007 we sought legal advice from Bekki’s Uncle Don, a former Gallia County, Ohio Detective, who advised us that we had hired a criminal attorney for a child custody case saying, “It’s like going to a foot doctor to get your colon inspected.” He also gave us some names of persons that he knew that could help us find an attorney to address the court properly which on September 19, 2007 lead us to Attorney Marty Stillpass in Lawrence County. Don had also advised us to gather every record that we could of the court history, write an entire statement from the beginning of Keith and Bekki’s relationship to the present, in the meantime file a charge against him “every time he walked crooked.” and to do a complete background check on Keith. During the one plus hours that we spent in consultation with Marty Stillpass, he advised exactly what Don had advised us stating for us to bring him the background check, court documentation, “a script for court” (the statement) and $2,500 and he would take the case. I advised him of how we had been done by attorneys in the past and told him that all we wanted was for the truth to be told in court and that we would leave the rest up to God and the judge. He agreed stating that he did not take payments and wanted the $2,500 up front.

Vigorously, Bekki has been writing the statement for 22 days now and I have been online and on the phone gathering background information. The statement is horrifying to think that Keith would have any control over Olivia and Jackson’s lives at this time in his life, with 30 plus pages of physical, emotional and verbal abuse towards Bekki, Olivia and Jackson and unbelievable accounts of threats, manipulation and harassment towards all nine members of our family including death threats that the court has refused to acknowledge due to our absence of legal council at the time of the hearing. Many of the court records directly relate to these situations and have been ignored by the court system. Further, the background checks have revealed other physical, emotional and verbal abusive relationships on Keith’s part, one girl in Texas stating that she has a permanent scar on her forehead where Keith had struck her with a full beer while they were dating. Other information has revealed use and distribution of prescription drugs, marijuana and cocaine, multiple D.U.I. charges, driving on suspended, Fraud including: check, credit card, I.R.S., D.M.V., food stamp, Department of Health and Family Services and Medicaid, and ownership and concealed carrying of an unregistered Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun. Most recent revolting acts by Keith include: Refusing to meet with us to exchange the children stating that in a recent hearing in court (which we were never informed of) that the meeting place had been changed and we forfeited our time with Olivia and Jackson by not meeting there and taking Olivia from school to an unknown psychiatrist, advising her to state that I have physically abused her. Keith has also threatened through a friend that he is not stopping there and plans to file charges stating that Olivia has been physically and sexually abused in our home by me.

I had said that we come to you in a time of need. At this time we have no legal council for December 14, 2007 or will be forced to either represent ourselves or use D.L. McWhorter who has yet to give us any of his time since March 2007. We have laid all of this at the alter before God and have full faith that His Will be done. We are asking for prayers, financial support and physical support at the hearing. The hearing will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday December 14, 2007 before the Honorable Patricia Sanders; Magistrate of said court in her courtroom located on the Second Floor, Annex, Lawrence County Courthouse, #1 Veterans Square, Ironton, Ohio 45638 and may continue to the following Monday. Please forward this letter to any and all of your friends and family. Bekki still needs help finding the unknown psychiatrist and I need assistance in obtaining these court documents that I have found information on. We need all the physical support at the courthouse the day of the hearing that is available. Please pray for Olivia and Jackson. May God shield them from the corrupt environment they’ve been exposed to. Please pray for Anthony Keith Taylor. May God show him the light and may he be lead to a life with Christ bringing Olivia and Jackson up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
