Cancer
I have a request for my friends Monika and Danny Oliva. Her husband finally guit smoking and last week was told that he has lung cancer, so they are flying out to a cancer hospital in Oklahoma on Wed. they aren't getting the good help they need in Hawaii. They are sweet people and I tired to talk to Monika about God and even took her to our old Church in Hawaii but she backed off after a bit. Now I feel there might be hope because she has met a couple over there that are Christians and the husband is a Pastor so I feel there might be hope. I pray for them to have strength to get through this whole ordeal and to come to the Lord. Thanks Kathi

heavenly father we pray for this dear couple! hold them close and reveal yourself thru the holy spirit to them in this very difficult time!
our prayers are for healing and restoration to this man! strengthen his body, heart and mind. please restore what the enemy is trying to steal.
we are praising your holy name and trusting and believing o lord for your touch and for removal of this cancer from his body.

We lift Danny oliva up to you and ask for your devine healing of his lung. Please remove all cancer from his body. Please show him and his wife your love and guide them to accept you as their savior. Please give them both the strength and the courage they need to go thru this difficult time..amen

Merciful Jesus, during Your life on earth You showed great concern for the sick and the infirm. Have compassion now on all those who are sick or in pain. Grant them a healing of mind and body and restore their strength and spirit.
Comfort them with the knowledge that we are praying for them, and give them peace with a sense of Your Presence. May they know that in a special way they are united with You, their suffering Christ. May they contribute to the welfare of the whole People of God by associating themselves freely with Your Passion and Death for the salvation of the world. Bless, too, those who take care of the sick.
