Prayer for Healing

Please keep Lategan (my friends brother in law) and Belinda in your thoughts and prayers today as he is getting the results of his scan at 14h00 and things aren't looking great, as they found another cancerous lump last week in his neck and we have just heard that the cancer has spread and that he has spots on his liver, stomach and lungs. They are planning to run blood tests to see when they can start clinical trials.
As we all know God can do miracles and by keeping him in our prayers God will do what is best and take this gentleman in his hands to care for him in the way he should be cared for and seen to . I here give over Lategan to you dear Lord and know you will do the right thing.
Amen

Can I ask that you please keep my friends brother-in-law, Lategan, in your thoughts and prayers today? Besides starting his new job today, he is also going to the oncologist this afternoon to find out where to from here. Very stressful for everyone!

Lategan is going to go on a course of treatment to basically just slow the cancer down. Might have the opportunity to go on clinical trials in February or so.

Dear friends

Just wanted to let you know the sad news that Lategan was admitted to hospital on 8th December and is still there. He has developed a very large tumour in his abdomen which increased in size tremendously over a matter of days. He has been on morphine and is getting weaker every day. They have barely been able to wake him up this morning in order to give him his medicine.

Belinda started her new job only 2 weeks ago, but they have been very kind and have given her the time off to spend with him at hospital. She was literally coming home to shower and go back, but has now actually started to stay there all the time.

My parents and I have been looking after Nathan who is clearly very confused. He is being impossible, but we understand that it is a very difficult time for him as well.

Update - 5 months ago:

For those of you who are not aware, my brother-in-law Lategan took a severe turn for the worse in early December and was hospitalised due to an abdominal tumour which developed and spread incredibly quickly - the doctors were amazed at how quickly it grew.

At my sister's insistence, he started chemo while in hospital but was soon on (oral) morphine for the pain caused by the tumour.

Within days he was in a very serious condition spending most of his time sleeping. He was determined to help himself though and would not even let my sister help him to take his medicine. That meant that it took him ages even just to drink the little dosage of morphine because he would constantly fall asleep while trying to drink it.

However, on the Wednesday night before Christmas, he suddenly said to my sister that she must get a pen and paper so that he can write down a list of what he must do to be home for Christmas!!! She told him that he has to start eating and drinking again (he hadn't eaten for daaays so was quite dehydrated).

Within a few days he was doing much better with colour in his face and his infectious positive attitude returning shortly afterwards.

He came home for Christmas day and when he left, he said that he is craving braai, so the next day he came home again for some good ol' chops 'n wors. He was then discharged on the Friday!!!!

He is recuperating at home now and has a nurse staying with him during the day to make sure he takes his medicine and to give him food etc.

He unfortunately was found unconscious on the bedroom floor last week so was in hospital again for 5 days. luckily they could pin it down to something specific though - low levels of something in his blood - so he is back home now again.

We are so grateful for all your prayers and concern during what has been an extremely stressful period for everyone.

Please Lord I stand in agreement with her prayers and I ask you to heal her friend's brother in law and Brenda. Please let the tests show good news and let him make a full recovery. Please cast out the cancer and guide his medical team and let him respond successfully to treatment.Please Lord bless this family and please work a miracle here. THE CROSS I know that we all have a cross to bear, but sometimes the cross that I am bearing is so heavy. I know the cross I bear is not like the cross Jesus boar, or those on this site, but still I'm not asking for prayer I'm just want to say something to all on this site. So many people sick, so many hurting, so many suffering, so many have been lied to, so many have had something stolen from them. So many have experenced a loved one dieing, or death of a loved one, or going through some kind of tribulation. Many hearts are broken, God's love is so great yet. More people are needing something. Sometimes it's like being in a desert like Moses, and the Jews. But simetimes is like being up in the mountain talking with Jesus. And sometimes it's like being in drought with no rain. or floud drowning and trying to reach up and grab something for help and nothing is their, until Jesus reaches down and takes our hand and lifts us up out of the storm, Closing the lions mouth to that thy won't tears apart. I know this doesn't make any since but I felt led to say something, and however it comes out it's from God to all those on this site. God bless these people Please with out you no one can do anything. You said that we can move mountains I move all these mountians of pain, sickness, anger, hatred, stealing, lieing, tumers, cancers, demons, sex acts, I command all this things to depart from all these people who need you. I move this mountians of depression, hunger, joblessness, lonelyness, I rebuke all this demons In the name of Jesus. Lord I believe that you have healed everyone on this site. I know that you have touched everyones heart as you touched mine. I belive that you bring familys back to geather again, You are healing familys, Your making familys stronger. I pray that you will heal those who are addicted on drugs, cigretts, drinking. I pray that you stop the abuse in homes. I pray also that you heal my ferrets Banditt, and Rascule this I pray in the name of Jesus I believe that all these mountians are being removed out of all these peoples life.
