In a Valley

I have been stumbling spiritually for some time now. I am a small town pastor and I ask prayer. Pray that God meet me in a powerful and special way. This valley is becoming a burden and a hinderance in the ministry and I am tired. Bless all tha pray

Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray but God is moving again in my life and I have felt His anointing when I stand and preach. I didn't want this call to be a pastor. But our Lord use us a He will and I want to be the best I can for Him.

Oh Dear Rev. Jerry,

Know this as I read your words I tell you you are not stumbling, As were told and as you know from the Lord's Prayer Lead us not into temptation and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors! We all fall short no matter what.

As a pastor from your own life living in this valley that we live in you must overcome what ever it is that cause you to hinder in His not your ministry. Now use this experience to serve as a witness for Him to those within your community, as you over come this burden. A burden God did not give you but was put there by the great deciever of men. Look at Job and how Satin was allowed to make his life a mess but Job hung on to his faith in God!

I want to give you a gift given to me in dream many years ago that may be appropriate here for you as well as it was for me many years ago. and any who want may reprint this and use it if it is of any help to anyone!

LOVING TRUTH

Truth is something that can be seen in the crimson and gold
of an evening sunset.
Made by the loving hand of God and a sign of a new day to come!

Through time I’ve learned that God’s love is as dependable, as
a setting sun. For none of the acts of mankind that trouble my being and soul, can change that infallible truth!

Life has taught me to trust not in the acts of mankind
nor even myself! For our spirit is strong and yet
our flesh is weak. For we walk down the paths of good
and evil in a confused state of mind and heart!

Our iniquities are but an illusion. An illusion of what
we believe to be as truths. For only love is God
and God is truth!

I pray one day we will all watch a setting sun and
truly know of what I speak.
For surely then the gates to God’s Kingdom
Will be opened to all in a new world of God’s Loving Truth!
