our father which art in heaven holy be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses and sins as we forgive those who sin against us .i wonder i have studied in a christian school and have learnt this prayer since childhood but sometimes feel scared how can god help with just a small prayer when all religions have elaborate prayers but still i pray when i pray this small prayer it gives strength to god and he helps by all means amen aarti

It is not the lenght of prayer that matter most but the quality of heart being put to the prayer. The Lord already knows what we are going to ask for before we say it in prayer, but we pray to confirm that He the Lord is the source of all things; to acknowledge that God is our provider; keeper; teacher; savior; mentor; shoulder to lean on; hope & source of happiness.
