PRAYER FOR EVERYONE
Somebody sent me this prayer and I would like to share it with all of you. "Dear God, most of us always desire a perfect situation, a perfect life. Yet, you my Lord do not grant a perfect life. What you give instead is a perfect heart in the midst of an imperfect life. Teach me to be cheerful, hopeful, smiling amidst imperfections and to enjoy your wondrous blessings every moment in time. Amen."

I'm pleased to tell you that I'm going for a 3 week seminar by the agency I am applying for to teach abroad. Please pray for me to hurdle the training and the interview by the employers. A PRAYER FOR STRENGTH
O Lord,
In this time of need, strengthen me. You are my strength and my shield; You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew my strength.
I do not fear, for You are with me.
I am not dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are my God. I know You will strengthen me and help me; that You will uphold me with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of illness cover me, I feel the comfort of Your strength, Or Lord.

Hello Roxana. Thanks for your constant care and concern for me. Most of all, thanks for the prayers and candles. Update on me - I am now taking up a one year course called Early Childhood Education and I'm still continuing with my college teaching. The course I enrolled in this semester meets up only once a month since it's a distance education. I pray that this step that I did will help me in my goal of working overseas. I am thankful to the Lord that He is in constant watch over you and your family and to Allyson and Jason. May He always make wonderful things happen to all of you. God bless you always.

I open my heart to You, dear God, and let Your peace fill my being. In Your presence, I am peaceful, poised, confident, and strong.
I relax in Your loving care, dear God, and release all my cares to You, knowing that You are upholding me and sustaining me in all that I do.

Hello, Roxana. Thanks for your prayer and concern. Yes, I am rarely visiting this site. Although I still come a few times and offer prayers to some prayer requests here. I honestly am doing that on purpose because I'm trying to find my own strength being alone and another reason is sometimes I feel that my prayers that I offer here are not enough. I wish I can do more for the people who are in pain and suffering. I suffer with them too and I feel their pain, that's why I've been infrequent here lately. But anyway, yes sister, I am happy and well and trying to be strong. God bless you and your family always. And I pray for continous miracles God is giving Jason and Allyson. Take care!

Dear Penelope, Please don't feel as though the prayers you offer are not enough, We have gotten so much strength and courage from the prayers said for us, you can see the Lord working in jason's life, we have so much faith in that. I know some of the requests are very heartbreaking and make us feel useless not being able to help these people but prayer is a great and powerful way of supporting others. I know and understand that you are trying to get inner strength, it is admirable but i hope you don't feel as thought you shouldn't find strength from this site. Personally, I think our family would have struggled tremendously through this time without the love and support expressed by kindhearted people like yourself. This seems to be one of those times when troubles abound, but I know that You understand and can take care of us.
Where there are problems and pain, give Your peace and mercy.
Where there is tiredness, please give understanding of Your strength, and show us how to tap into that strength by leaning on You.
Where there are difficult decisions to make, or confusion or stress, make Your way plain and give everything needed for us to follow where You lead.
Where there is loneliness, I ask You to renew the experience of Your nearness and draw us into greater intimacy with You.
Where there is insecurity or self-doubt, please grant renewed confidence in Your abilities, more faith in You inside each of us.
Where there is fear, please demonstrate Your love and give courage, as we know You can work out any situation for the best.
Where there is something blocking fellowship with You, please reveal the obstacle and take it away—whether sin, circumstances, or lack of faith.
Where there is a need for finances or other provision, please supply as You promised in Your Word, “God will supply all your need” (Philippians 4:19 KJV).
Where there is illness, send healing by Your miracle-working power and give instruction for healthful lifestyles.
Where there is a need for friendship and love, send other believers to fill up the void, as the Bible says, “If we are living in the light of God’s presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other” (1 John 1:7 TLB).Where there is a spiritual emptiness, send Your Word for inspiration, and grant sweet communion with You in prayer.
Whatever the need, please fill it, Jesus, as the Giver of all good things. Amen.
