Hi Gwenette. Here is the update on my finances, which you asked for, since praying your prayer. November is the first month in maybe 18 months when I have begun the month IN CREDIT! Not much, but it's a start. After I gave up work, due to ill health (now healed) I became addicted to charity work, especially their postal appeals. It kept me busy, whilst stuck at home. Along with trying to maintain my usual lifestyle (always assuming that I would get back to full time employment) my overgenerosity (as I was later told it was) got me into a big debt problem, and regular PAID work never happened again for me. Don't get me wrong, most days there aren't enough hours for everything I do for the Lord, but it is His work, and He provides the money in HIS way. He has not given me any "Quick fixes" because I believe that He wants me to understand the hardship of others firsthand, in order to help them, once I am truly permanently solvent again. Anyway, I have DEFINITELY turned a corner, and I feel it is no coincidence that I prayed your prayer immediately before there was evidence of this. Hope you manage to track down John Avanzini's book, because that started to reverse the damage for me. If you want the relevant scriptures and principles, let me know. They are very simple, but discipline is required to apply them. Lord Jesus, let Gwenette and I have individual "mini-ministries" to help others out of the mire of debt, as You continue to guide us out of lack into Your prosperity. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray.
