Dear Jesus, oh Loving and merciful Lord. No words that I can express will be able to remove the pain or replace the loss of this woman's mother. I've also lost my mother and know the emptiness that follows, after she had left. Now, without her, this person has to find a way to make it through her day and her nights, without her mom 'being there'. That was the hardest part - coming to understand that my mother wasn't 'there' at the other end of the phone, or, within a drive distance to visit....so....now, I ask that in this person's heart You find a way to touch her, like only You can. I ask that you replace the sadness that will come to her in the mornings when she wakes up to a new day, and in the evenings when she thinks about her mother - with a picture - a picture of her mother and You and my mother, and all the other mothers who have left this world, to all be together, loving You, walking happily in Heaven, resting, being at peace, being in oh, a so much better place than on this poor earth. Replace the sadness with the knowledge that her mother is with You, right now. In Your holy name I pray.

Heavenly Father,
I pray for comfort for this woman struggling with the lost of her dear mother. May she feel a sense of peace knowing her mother is in Paradise with the Lord. Please ease her pain and bring her peace as she grieves over this great loss. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN.
