Please Help My Son
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you please help my son R**** (age 29), and give him the strength to fight the battle that lays ahead of him. I know that he is helpless with out you by his side. He has closed his eyes & heart to you Lord and for this I am humbly saddened. A hard life has hardened his heart and he has turned to alcohol and other things. His earthly father broke his heart and his will, when he left us for another woman. The divorce was very hard on him and I belive it has effected his own relationships also. Lord, he needs your help so very much at this time. I beg you to please help to guide, strengthen and forgive him. Please protect him & bless him Lord, he is my only child and I love him so very much. I know it is hopeless with out you by his side. He is trying so very hard and he has taken steps to get help, but I am afraid for him Lord. He NEEDS you. I can not do anything for him, it is out of my reach, and my love is just not enough. Thank you dear heavenly Father for all the blessings you have given us, Thank you for your love, mercy and grace. In Jesus's precious name I pray. Amen!

I pray that God blesses your son and carries him back to His flock. Don't despair; I too put God aside for many, many years, and he came to my assistance and changed my life. Now I'm a church-going man who steers away from sin, just as once I was not. I ask that God do the same thing with your son. May He also bless you and all your other loved ones, through Jesus Christ his Son, our Lord.

Dear FaithinGod, I want to thank you for the beautiful & powerful prayer. I am so sorry that it took me so long to respond back to you but I have just learned how to do it with the help of my sister. It is comforting to know that there are such caring people like you out there, people who help ease the pain of others. Thru Christ and this site, I have found hope & strength from wonderful Christians who can feel my pain and understand the struggle that my son faces. I just feel so hopeless at times, and I am so afraid for him. He use to be a wonderful caring Christian, he went to Sunday school, bible studies, and church. But life has changed him and his heart has turned cold. He prayed & prayed and his prayers were not answered in the way he had hoped (but God knows best) and he lost his faith and when that happened he has lost much more. I hate it when he says the things he does about God, and it hurts me & scares me also. I can't understand how he can turn away from his faith and not be scared or concerned. He use to be such a wonderful caring person but his heart has changed. I pray that God will take care of him for me, because he will be lost without God's help. I drift back to when he was a child, and I can still hear him singing the song "Jesus Loves Me". It was so sweet and it would always bring a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. How I wish I could hear him sing it now. He will never get thru his problems without the help of God and I hope & I pray that God will hold him tightly and not let him go, and that God will give him the strength & will to free himself of this burden. I pray that he will be healed from his addictions and that he will serve you and be saved for salvation is ours if we seek it and do your will. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to thank you, but I am just finally learning how this works, and how to respond. My sister had to explain it to me...ha ha! So some where down deep in his heart god is still there ...
And wil rise again when he need him most!!!

You are always there for me and you know just what to say to ease my heart aches. You have a great gift of listening and caring, for all of those who's lives you have touched. You bring comfort & joy to those in need. I am truly thankful for all you have done for me & that you continue to do for me. Please know that you & your family are in my prayers, especially Calisya. I pray that she gets thru this ordeal without scars and that she will be able to find peace and happiness in her life. I hope that the men who hurt her get punished for what they did to her, and I hope that they will be put away & never be able to hurt any other children.
