My Boss

Please pray that my boss at work has a change in heart. The first day back from my knee surgery, he reprimanded me and threatened to remove me from my position. I really did not understand his motive. He gave me a long list of things to do to complete in a short period of time that I am concerned about getting this list done in a timely manner. Every day he is adding more and more work that I am overloaded. He is not treating the other supervisors this way. My boss name is Chuck. He has only been working in the school district for 1/12 years, and I have been an employee for 32 years. I need my job to support my family. Please pray for God to take my situation into his hand.

"COME UNTO ME, ALL YE THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST". (Mathew 11:28)
Perhabps the strain and burden of life have made you tired. If so, you may be carrying life to heavily. We get tired in our minds and develope that "I'm swamped" feeling. Allow this verse to disolve in your thoughts. As you turn to Jesus in your thoughts, he will give you rest. One way is by "showing you how to work". "Lean on me", He says. In other words, work by My method. "My yoke is aeasy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:30). That is to say, easy does it. Don't strain, don't tug, relax. Do one job at a time using the light touch, the easy touch. Norman Vincent Peale
