I was reading Mark 4 and came across verses 35-41 which state:
35And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
36And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
I for some reason could not get past verse 38: In the midst of all the tribulation, Jesus was sleep on a pillow. What did He know that the disciples didn't? What did he know that many of us don't know? This is the peace that passes all understanding. This is what God planned for us when the scriptures state that we are "more than conquerors". He was resting in the midst of a storm! Remember that regardless of your situation. Jesus was at peace in the midst of a storm. You too can have that peace. God has not given us the spirit of fear.
So to the lonely, I say "Peace, be still"
To the brokenhearted, I say "Peace, be still"
To the lost and confused, I say "Peace, be still"
To the sick and afflicted, I say "Peace, be still"
To all those seeking answers, I say "Peace, be still"
We may not have created many of the storms in our lives, but it does not make things easier to fret and wonder! The battle is not yours, it's the Lord's. Rest easier knowing this.
Claim your victory, in Jesus' name. Amen

GOD BLESS YOU MY BROTHER............
I stand in agreement with this - even when it feels like we want to give up and God seems so far away - there is that little wheel churning away within our hearts that tells us to leave the situation alone, you cannot do nothing about it - and yes some of our situations are not self inflicted, and maybe some of them are self inflicted out of desperation - but eitherway you are right the battle belongs to the Lord and all he ask of us is that we trust him - thank you - amen xx
