Continued Prayer for an injured child
This is a continued prayer for Calleigh, a 10 month old burned by deep fat fryer 2 days before Thanksgiving. Here is a follow-up email from Grandmother Karmel.
BLESSINGS, BLESSINGS, AND MULTITUDES AND MYRIADS OF BLESSINGS TO ALL!! I just got back from the hospital and Calleigh's little face FINALLY looks like herself again {other than a few bleeding spots~which the dr.s say is a good thing}!!!! She's holding her eyes open longer and responding to her mom's and dad's voices. The paralytic drug has been stopped, the respirator has been 'stepped down' several times over the last two days, and everything is healing well. They're going to wait about ten days to see how much will need to be graphed. I'm still praying that our PHYSICIAN LORD HEALER will intervene and one of these days the doctors will be astonished at the totally healed skin in place of the formerly burned skin on my precious grandbaby girl!!!!!! PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY AND FORWARD CALLEIGH'S PROGRESS TO ALL THE PRAYER CHAINS!!! WE TRULY DO APPRECIATE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU PRAYING!!! Below is what my daughter-in-law has written to those she is emailing.....
I got to watch her dressings being changed today and she looks so great, the doctor said the are waiting about 10 days to allow more healing to determine when and how much grafting they will have to do. The doctor said the may not have to graft the lower right arm, but we will have to wait so please keep those prayer lines going, that she will heal with little grafting need. They are decreasing her pain meds, sedative meds, and have began weening her off the ventilator YEA!!!, Then a day or two after being off the ventilator she will go to the burn unit. Thank you everyone.
ONCE AGAIN, TRULY, WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW EACH ONE OF YOU TOUCH OUR HEARTS BY JOINING US IN PRAYER FOR CALLEIGH'S COMPLETE HEALING IN JESUS NAME!!

BLESSINGS TO ALL!!! Well, Calleigh has had a minor set back today. The grafting surgery was postponed until tentatively Wed. the 12th. The doctors found a systemic yeast infection {in Calleigh's blood} that could have been a threat to the grafting proceedure. SOOO, here we go, in order to 'flush' the infection, iv fluids were increased again~causing more swelling, the pain and paralytic meds were increased and resumed again~so the resperator was increased again. The nurses poked her SEVERAL MORE times trying to put another 'line' in to administer the meds for the yeast infection ~ they just took it out the other day! {don't know why} ~ they ended up having to unwrap her left {less affected} arm to find a vein there, and finally succeeded! I saw her unbandaged today for the first time and it was a very rough sight for me!!! I BELIEVE WITH ALL MY BEING THAT OUR LORD IS TELLING ME THAT CALLEIGH IS GOING TO BE HEALED AND HAVE NO SCARS~~~~~I JUST WISH HIS TIMETABLE AND MINE WERE THE SAME!!!! PLEASE, KEEP ON PRAYING!!! GOD BLESS YOU A~L~L FOR YOUR SACRIFICIAL PRAYERS FOR OUR BABY GIRL!!!

Father God Yu are the great healer I pray in the name of Jesus that you will heal this baby that she will not need any skin grafts Lord I pray that you will show your glory though the healing of this child and that all those involved will see and know that you are the one who heals ALL wounds.
