Thanks dez for your fervent prayers for all on this site. I say "Yes and amen" to ALL your prayers and those said for you. I need to add this. I heard many people say they have to be righteous enough to come to the Lord. I have always been of the opinion if you go to the lord he will make you in time as righteous and you need to be. He will take away bad situations in time and show you he exists. You don't have to try so hard as keep yourself open so you can feel God when he needs you to. Talk to God as I do every day and I think you will see what I am talking about. Sometimes he uses a 2x4 upside of your head to let you know he is there and sometimes you can see him when a stranger child smiles at you for no reason at all. My thoughts here.

I was baptized in a church that believed and encouraged the gift of tongues. From what I remember reading about this in the Bible it is one of many gifts you may have. Look it up or Google the different gifts. You might already be blessed and not know it. Read my update of what happened to me on 08/29/2007. It has made me feel something in my heart. When needed I feel he will be there even if someone does not see it. I hope you find your gift or find out what that gift is that you have been blessed with.

I am praying for you dear soul! God loves you very much and He wants what is best for you! I feel your pain in many ways as I too have experienced many times where I feel that I failed, or didn't measure up, or perhaps didn't do things as I should have in worshipping the Lord God, or Praising Him as I needed to...

God understands, He is forgiving and wants you to turn it all over to Him!

The gift of tongues is questionable, as there are many Bible scholars who have shown that 'tongues' only happened on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit is with you if you call out to the Lord Jesus and ask Him to reveal His will and presence.

Trust and believe and know that people are praying for you even if you don't necessarily 'feel it' ( I still don't 'feel it' many days, but I DO know that God is with me and His Spirit is with me and ministering to me). The 'gift of tongues' doesn't mean that God does not love you... HE SENT HIS SON TO DIE FOR YOU AND ME AND ALL OF HUMANKIND! HE LOVES YOU THAT MUCH!
