I am probably like most people in that it's easy to be faithful when things are going along fairly smoothly. In reality, I know that I am living in abundance compared to many, & I am truly grateful that I even have a car, a home, a family, etc. Things have just piled up recently (as they tend to do, right?) ...my dad has been in & out of the hospital several times since Oct. literally on death's door, but has pulled through. He can no longer stand or walk, so Mom & I had to make the very tough decision to put him in a Nursing Home. I have a 20 yr old daughter at home who has mental & emotional challenges. I also have 2 other children & 3 healthy grandchildren (Blessings!)
Helping them has left me with financial struggles. The trans-
mission blew on my van, but I was able to get a used car (another blessing) but the transmission just went out on it also! Few things make me feel more helpless than car trouble & money trouble. I just need prayers to keep the faith & be of good cheer. I don't want a hand-out, but rather for God to direct me in all my dealings so that I can make wise choices & be a better steward. Like manna, give me just what I need to live each day in a manner that is pleasing to You. Thank You God! Amen.
