3-week Language Course and Interview
Dear prayer family, I will leave my hometown for a 3-week language course in the city. Interview for possible deployment abroad will follow after the training in January. Please pray that I hurdle and pass both the training and interview. I pray that God enlightens my mind and help me focus during this training and interview. I will try to be online on Christmas since we will be given a few days break, so that I can greet you a Happy Holidays. I may be gone for a while, but rest assured that all my prayers and thoughts are with you all. I pray for those who are in pain, emotional and physical. I pray for those who have financial troubles. I pray for those who have family and marital problems. Most of all, I pray for those who are undergoing terrible sufferings and hurts. May God be with you all as you struggle with these burdens. I pray that as you all lift up all your individual situations to Him you will be enlightened with the thought that He is the only Father who can truly take care of us all and who loves us very much. God bless everyone on this site.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!. I wish all prayers warriors in this site a blessed and bountiful Holidays, most especially my subscribers and the people I subscribe to. You know who you are. =) May we always remember the reason for this season, not material wealth but the mighty love of God to us because He sent His son to save us all from our sins. And if that is not the greatest gift of all, I don't know what is. Even if 2007 may not have been a good year for some of us, let us consider ourselves lucky that we are still surviving and in the midst of loving people around us and of course, the Father Almighty who loves us very much. Let us look forward to 2008 with hope in our hearts that the Lord will always be there, providing for our needs and taking care of us, no matter what. Let us all look only to the good things and good people He has given us all this time. Happy Holidays everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! I'm back from my language training. It is up to the Lord now what happens in my interview. May He bless me with focus to answer the questions very well. Thank you for the prayers while I was away. God bless us all abundantly and in many ways this 2008.

Please pray for me that I pass this job interview set for the third week of March. May the good Lord grant me wisdom and focus to answer the questions which are in Spanish, not English. Help me, God.

GOD IS TRULY GOODI I was called up for a pre-interview seminar for this Wednesday and I was thinking where to get money for my trip going to Manila and today I got wonderful news. Money which I wasn't expecting to arrive did arrive for me to use. God really answers all our prayers! He really loves and takes care of all our needs. Just like He did for me all the time I was in Manila where He gave me an inexpensive lodging when I needed it for my 3-week training. Thank you, Lord! Praise be your Holy name!

Please be with me, Lord on my interview on March 25. Grant me wisdom and a calm disposition in answering questions. Please help me pass the interview, Lord. Amen.

Thanks for all your prayers, my dear prayer warriors. God bless you all! Sadly, I did not pass the interview. It's been days and I'm recovering from my hurt. I thought I was to blame even if I tried my best in that interview. It turns out, most of the teachers who passed the said interview have master's degree and taking up doctorate and they have been teaching for more than 10 years. I've been only teaching for 6 and haven't even finished my master's yet.

Thank you Penelope for your prayers concerning my grandsons. I believe the Lord will answer in His own time, however please don't stop praying. (smile) God has His reasons for you not passing the interview but we just don't know His real reason. But for now accept that He still has work for you to do where you are, so keep your head up and stand proud because He is using you for some reason; maybe a soul needs to be saved and you are the one He has chosen to use for that task. Whatever the reason, continue to trust Him for He is truly wonderful. Be blessed.....

Thanks for your prayer for me. But sadly, I did not pass the interview on March 26. It doesn't hurt me that I did not pass the interview but what disappointed me was I was asked to pay for the 3 week training. Plus, all that time I also paid for my own food, lodging and fare which was about 6 hours away from my place. But just the same, I sincerely appreciate your prayer for me.

Hi Roxana. Thanks for the show of support. Yes, I specifically want to go to the US for that teaching job. But I still thank you though for the site you sent me about Australian migration. Maybe, I could give it a try also. I know now that there was nothing specifically wrong with me and what I did in that interview. I learned that most of the teachers who passed that job interview were teaching for more than 10 years and most of them are taking up their doctorate. I have been only teaching for 6 years and I haven't even finished my master's yet. I just felt cheated that the agency owner let us pay and enroll in that Spanish language course which apparently did not help us anyway. I could have used the money I spent for better purposes. Oh well, things happen for a reason I suppose. As for my fellow teacher, he is coming back to teach for this summer in school. He feels happy and grateful for all prayers given in his behalf. Hi Roxana. Thanks for the candles. I just arrived from Manila/my interview this morning. It was a job interview for a US teaching job and which I trained for special language lessons for 3 weeks last December 2007. I did not get a positive reply from the interviewer and the agency. God knows I tried my best. I prepared for it. I wore the right clothes, said the right things and acted the proper way. I have no idea why I wasn't called back. I have spent much money for the payment of my 3 week-training, for the fare going back and forth to Manila, for my lodging and my food. I want to thank you again for your wonderful words of support and encouragement. They are deeply and sincerely appreciated. May God continue to bless you and your whole family.

Hello, Roxana. I'm doing good, thanks. I hope you and you're loved ones are doing good too. I'm still enroled in distance education of early childhood education, still teaching and my job application is still pending for a teaching job abroad. That is why I will not apply for a visa application for tourist just yet because this one that I'm waiting for is a job that will help me and my family. Please pray for me that I pass the interview and be hired. Our final interview is next month. And we have a refresher/review this weekend of the training we had last December. Thanks for the prayer you sent me. I pray for the well-being of all your family members.
