prayer to hear god's voice
I pray to god sometimes and ask him to speak to me the way some born -again christians on tv do but god never does,feel like he does not care to speak to me about whats bugging me ,I ask him to speak to me and he never does about things that are bothering ,please god speak to me in that still small autible way people claim he does at times to them pray feel like he is selfish and won't speak to me

Find your closet with no interruptions, clear your mind and do not think of anything. Ask and he will speak to you but you have to keep allthoughts quiet so you may hear him. He love you and wants to guide you. Take Care and Have a merry Christmas.

My dear child, God doesn't speak to ppl in the obvious way that you are asking. Why this is, I do not know, but I know that it is nothing deceitful or sinister, but rather for a very good reason.
God's voice is that little voice in your head that you find when talking to yourself...
God speaking to you is when you are trying to solve a dilemma & you feel the light bulb go off in your mind...
God speaking to you is the joyful burst of happiness when you suddenly feel happy for no reason at all.
God speaks to us all the time, it's just a matter of rather or not we actually "listen".
Now I will pray for you-
Dear Heavenly Father God,
Please help this dear one "hear" & recognise your voice. Show them where you are & guide them towards the peace their soul so obviously needs.
