Resist him by reminding him how he utterly FAILED to score a single point off Jesus in the wilderness (LUKE 4/MATTHEW 4/MARK 1) then remind him just how comprehensively he failed with Job! Next remind him of the CROSS and RESURRECTION. Finally, read aloud REVELATION Chapter 20, especially verse 10. Read it over and over until he flees (= "runs in terror") Yes, he is god of this world, but we serve the SUPREME SOVEREIGN LORD of the UNIVERSE! Amen. If we are "in Christ" then it is "no contest" just like the wilderness. We are "MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Jesus Christ who loves us" and "NO WEAPON FASHIONED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER" and JESUS in us is GREATER by far than he that is in the world." The enemy is just a fallen angel.
