I had to give Mae a letter of Good Bye
Mae let it be known she can't marry me because she is fearful to the problems associated with my struggles with my very brittle diabetic condition!
I told her I understood and this was nothing new to me so I told her I loved her anyway but it was best I set her free from any obligations to me!
She went on to say that she also just was not comfortable in her heart towards me at this time!
So I said good bye to her. But she said she still wanted to pray with me and go to church with me and do all the things husbands and wives do. I asked her then you want all the privileges of marriage but not the obligations! And I said good bye to her! I pray I have done what God wants for me with her? and ask for His wisdom!
Update - 6 months ago:
Sorry so slow on updating have tired but for some reason I have had technical problems on Update program here!
Anyhow got it working now and to let you all know when Mae got the Good bye letter she questioned me on many things and said the letter was harsh but she understood where I was coming from. She and I both admitted that we carry much from our pasts and we both have come to the conclusion that to try and live without each other can't be done. She still has not set a date for a wedding but I am as of this date hopeful it will come sooner than later! The diabetic issue seems to be resolved and I understand the comfort in the spiritual level is getting much better. She knows I do truly love her and she admits she is very much in love with me!
She has some problems to work out with a son over me and she is diligently doing her best to get this resolved as well!
Those things of the spirit between her I and God are doing well! Some fiscal things to work out and family matters to work on but she seems to be getting all that in line with finding the path to not only being joined by God as we are in His eyes but also in the eyes of this world and its ways!
Perhaps when all is said and done we will be a better example of how people should love one another rather than how married folks do love one another in this world. As Mae often and correctly says, " I must live in this world but don't have to be a part of it!"
So continue to pray for us that God's will be done and the wisdom of our Lord will shine upon both Mae and I and upon our hearts to do His will over our own!
Update - 5 months ago:
Sunday and again last night Mae and I at church spent some time listening to and being spoken to by Christian known prophetic lady from California by the name of Peggy Cole from Peggy Cole Ministries International she can be googled up! She looked at Mae and I in the crowd and walked over to us and said, "You two have a love the sparkles and glows and is seen and shall be seen by many who will come before you for counseling on how we live by love and wrapped in God's love! She told us in prayer that many will come before us to hinder us but they will not prevail for God's Love is binding and we will over come all things by our love for God and for each other! I did not know this lady and never heard of her before this moment but her prophetic words to us directly had much meaning as it should to each of you who have read my messages over the past few months.
Mae and I know we must do what ever God asks of us and I feel confident by God's hands it shall be done!
I pray soon I can send a message to you that her and I have been joined in marriage and bliss not only by God's hands but by the ways of this world as well!
May Each of our lives be a blessing not only to each of you and to us but to God!

Lord, protect Rabbn and Mae, that they know that you are in control and you will take care of all things for this couple. In your precious name. Amen.

Our Faith tells us that it is God who has put us together. Even though there are many here in our small community here in Ingram, Texas that are uncomfortable with our love and in our loving of each other at our ages seem bent on trying to discourage us but God will prevail. For our path is clear and the confusion that sometimes comes in our way is only the way of them that do not want to see God's way as a way of life! For God is not the author of confusion only the thoughts of simple mindless hearts could make something bad our of something that is good and told of in the Bible. Marriage is a sacred honor put on to us by the love of God for all of mankind. For the woman is the church and the husband the pastor and God is the one that church does worship! So marriage is the most important part of seeing to it that evil fails in all our lives!
Family Values must start with loving marriages between two loving people whom put God First in their lives!

Hi padma,
You and your family are in our prayers and you are never far from our thoughts.
As far as the diabetes is concerned it is holding its own and I have some good days with it and some bad but to me both the good and the bad is always good!
Spiritually I grow daily and Mae and I are getting things together. I feel she and I are learning more about the values of her and I being tired tightly together by the hand of God!
I pray all is going well over there and that the things of this world that have caused much heartache is falling away from the ways of those whom cause pain in your lives!
God is always our only guide and for you as I am always learning the best assurance in life for us is to go Back to the teachings of our Lord and read it to be assured that our thoughts are of His and not of our own imaginations. As it is a flower that smells sweet may often harbor an bee who is also enjoying the gifts of God but often the bee does not know you mean no harm so it can sting you if you get your nose into close! LOL What I am trying to say is many things of this world that look good are not what they seem to be and out of innocence we can get stung by what seems to be good and is good to both the bee and to the eye of mankind but we each must gather the goodness in our own time given to us by God.
So my health is not always as good as I'd like to see it but when the time is right God will release me from its hold. And as long as I keep my spirit as high as the eagles fly I am doing very well!

She has many issues to deal with and I know the heel of the Lord will stamp out all the indecisions that have fallen upon her from so many others!
As it is written The Lord Is Our Shepard We shall not want, He led us beside the still waters He restoreth our souls, Surely Goodness and Mercy Shall follow us all the days or our lives.
I feel these are the things we all should remember as we walk our individual walks to our Lord and Master!
Because all of you in here agree with our purposal of Mae and I joining in marriage. It has been agreed to and therefore it is so and will be done in the name of Jesus!

I will sure send you an E-mail and let you know when Mae gets ready.
Right now she seems to be getting more comfortable with things. I am not pushing her she feels I think a bit anxious! A pastor told her she must look into herself and to figure out why she feels or has felt in such a way about marriage. He told her he knew we both were sticking to the word and it was obvious that the love between us and the love we share for our God was great! But she had to figure out what it was that was concerning her about it all! In her words she had something didn't know what it was that was making her feel uncomfortable? I told the pastor she lost her husband after a 47 year successful marriage. For which I do admire the both of them, and I am new and new person who also loves her as much if not more that she was loved by him. She acknowledged that she also felt this was so! So were in good shape. And we know the devil does not want a prayer team like her and I together and he is fighting us every step of the way! So keep praying her past is a lot and fear of new is not going to be easy for her I know. I can only pray I am worthy enough to fill her heart with as much if not more love than she had for so long. And what a wonderful blessing she had with such a loving past!

We had to send a message to our church and tell them that we would not be able to attend worship as usual.

Mae received a call from a brother in another town who feels that Mae and I together are the only ones who can add the glow of God to a darkened place he has been thrown into at this time. He called and requested that we come Sunday to his church away from our area to pray for him and to counsel him through his heart aches. He said he feels we are the only ones he has ever seen who truly shine through with our love for God and for one another and this is the kind of love he needs to see, feel and hear on this day when he shall be baptized again. His life is currently filled with turmoil and he told Mae that by our example we were the only ones he knew that could help him through this difficult time. He would give us detail when we got there Sunday. So pray that God shall put the right words in our hearts and let them flow from our lips to do some good for this brother in Christ. For that reason I tell you that it appears the prophesy is beginning to be full filled as the prophet said!

We both feel that God has joined us but often the outside ways of this world and the influences of others thoughts can often take away from us the things God wants for us for His purposes not ours or others! Thank you for your prayer
