I know how hard this must be for you, for your heart pours out for this child and I can feel your pain. Bless you for the compassion and tenderness you have for your children. Fight the good fight with love, compassion and understanding and she will see she has made a big mistake and come home. May God's love enter Emily's heart and lead her to her mothers loving arms. Stay in touch with your daughter via email and share your feelings of love for her. Let her know that whatever she does you will always be there for her. Remind her of all the good times you have had together ,and you only want what is best for her. She will see that her place is with you. I wonder how things are going, hope you have made some positive progress with your daughter. Very concerned because your last prayer request sounded like you were at your wits end. Don't give up on us or your daughter now. Have faith, for nothing good ever comes easy. Please respond when you have the time. Dear God I pray Catt will know that we are all praying for her in her time of need, help her to deal with the problems that confront her, give her the hope and strength she so desires. Comfort her and give her peace of mind, so she can sleep and be rested. Please Lord stop her daughter from her rebellious actions and keep her safe and secure in her mothers loving arms. Have faith Catt, God will show her the error of her ways, in time she will thank-you for all you have done for her. As children we tend to be careless in the way we think and act. Not fully understanding the results of our actions, we think nothing bad will ever happen to us and we are in complete control, when in reality we haven't a clue. There are very few children who take the advice of their elders and listen to it, without some sort of argument . Although you hate to see them make mistakes, sometimes they have to fall on their faces before they will learn. Some lessons good and bad can only be learned by experience. I am not saying that you should allow your children to run a muck, but you have to find some common ground in which you can relate. Remember the lessons you learned when you were young, share some of your experiences with your child. Talk to her like friends talk to each other. Share her interests and discuss the things she wants in life. Look at life from her point of view.You have to build a relationship of trust and open communication. Do not allow your emotions to get between the real issues. She will say things you won't want to hear but you have keep an open mind and don't over react. Make sure she understands that her actions effect you and how it makes you feel when she shows disrespect. Children need to feel they are in charge of their own lives, you have to trust that she will make the right decisions when push comes to shove. The day will come when she will see the love you have for her a she will be forever grateful. God I pray you give Catt the courage and understanding she needs to reach her troubled daughters heart.
