MY DEAR BETSY, I AM A PAST VICTIM OF VERBAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE. I WAS "EMPTY" TO. WHEN I GOT UP ENOUGH GUTS TO CONFRONT MY ABUSER, THINGS CHANGED. I JUST GOT TIRED OF FEELING LIKE I WAS NOBODY OF WORTH. GOD IS THERE. HE IS WITH YOU 24 HOURS A DAY. HE IS AWARE OF YOUR "EMPTYNESS".
HE IS AWARE OF YOUR ABUSE. DONOT GIVE UP ON YOUR LIFE. DONOT GIVE UP ON LIFE IN GENERAL. CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR DIRECTION AND HOPE. IF YOU PLAN TO STAY WITH YOUR SPOUSE, THEN YOU MUST BE DILIGENT IN PRAYER FOR HIM. ABUSE IS USUALLY DUE TO THE ABUSER'S OWN INSECURITIES SO HE DOES WHAT HE HAS TO DO TO MAKE HIMSELF FEEL "BIG" WHILE HE MAKES YOU FEEL" SMALL". PRAY FOR STRENTH AND COURAGE TO DEAL WITH YOUR SITUATION. PRAY FOR DIRECTION. ASK GOD WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO ABOUT THIS BLEAK MARRAIGE YOU ARE IN. PRAYER AND FAITH CAN MOVE MOUTAINS. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHO STRENGTHENS US. WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR MAN IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD. LORD, SHOW BETSY WHAT SHE CAN DO. ALL SHE HAS TO DO IS PRAY AND BELIEVE IN YOU AND KNOW THAT YOU FEEL HER PAIN. COME SWIFT O LORD AND END BETSY'S SUFFERING. HEAL HER SPOUSE OF ANY EMOTIONAL WEAKNESSES THAT CAUSES HIM TO VERBALLY ABUSE HIS WIFE. BRING THEM BOTH TO THE FOOT OF YOUR CROSS FOR FORGIVENESS AND HEALING. MAKE THIS MARRAIGE WHOLE. ALL THESE THINGS I ASK OF YOU O LORD IN JESUS NAME I PRAY, AMEN.

In the awareness of Your constant presence within me, God, I listen for the direction that guides me and makes
