I turn to prayer in times of dispair, and today I am glad I found this website. I do not usually reach out this way, but I cannot find relief elsewhere. My family and I are approaching the first anniversary of my brother's death. He was killed in a plane crash last year. I thought I had healed away most of the pain, but as the date draws near I find I am constantly reminded of the day I received the phone call that he was dead. I am feeling anxiety and dread as the day grows nearer. I know that my whole family must be feeling the same way and I worry about them. Please pray for my siblings, mom, and my brother's wife and son. Thank you.
Dear Lord,
I lift up Perry's family to you. July 6 marks an unbearably difficult anniversary which the family feels unable to cope with. please take away their dread and fill them with peace and an assurance that their son/brother/father and husband is safe and in your hands. Amen
Its hard to imagine that all things work together for good for those who love God as you do,but I believe what Rom.8 says. You will all get through this. There is a God, there is a heaven waiting for us. Suffering cracks the nut of understanding ( Gahill G.). You're already helping me and others with this wisdom. I'll pray for comfort, strength, and peace for your whole family.
I will pray for you and your family that God would give you comfort during this hard time. God is with us all the living and the ones who have passed on home to him. You sound like a very strong person, one with much compassion and love. I wanted to say thank you also for your prayers for me and my family-my mother with cancer especially. Like you, we will continue to pray and you can be assured we will be thinking of you. Thank you for your support, it means so much. God Bless you.
My dear sister, know that God is near. He has not forgotten you or your families heavy burden. He declares in his word that he is a burden bearer. I pray for his hand of mercy to be strecthed forth right now. I pray that he comfort the hearts of the family and give them a peace that passeth all understanding. Help them to rest in you Lord. Show them through your scriptures that you are able to do all things. Psalms 121:1 ' I WILL LIFT UP MINE EYES UNTO THE HILLS FROM WHENCE COMETH MY HELP, MY HELP COMETH FROM THE LORD WHICH MADE THE HEAVENS AND EARTH. I will be be believing God with you through this trying time. Cast your burden upon him for he careth for you. Hold on to God's unchanging hand.
