Healing and restoration of our marriage
Father, thank you for each day you have given us. Each are a blessing in their own right. I thank you for creating in me a new understanding of life, priorities, and thanksgiving.
Father I thank you for the gift of your Son and for you calling me to him. Father thank you so much for my family and our marriage. Father thank you for the forgiveness you have given me for failing in the past to see them as the gifts they truly are. Our marriage is such a gift from you, one that you want to see whole and treated right, with forever in mind. Father thank you for the wonderful gift that is my wife. She is truly the most beautiful woman in the world to me and I see no other in my heart. thank you for each of our children, the blessings that they are and the things you are doing in their lives.
Lord I pray for each and every one of our family. Lord I ask especially that you will bless my beloved wife in a mighty way. Lord show her that when one of us is blessed we are all receiving that blessing. Show her how she is such a blessing to me.
Lord I pray that you will show us both the things that we have in our hearts, that are keeping us from getting closer to you. Show us any anger, unforgiveness, pride, or pain so that we may place it at the foot of the cross. Replace those things with a true agape love for one another, with forgiveness, with humility, and with peace. Remind us every morning that it is a new start full of your grace. Show us how to come back together Lord. Show us how to keep our marriage from falling any further to the enemy. Place god godly people around us, that will help us and lead us to follow your way. Lord Thank you for showing me the things I have done in the past and washing those away from me. Lord thank you for showing me that our marriage will never be perfect, but it will be wonderful with you at the center of it.
Lord I pray that you will breathe life into the spark of love that is in my beautiful wife’s heart. Show her how she can trust her heart to me, as I am trusting mine to her. Show her that she has a husband that loves her, cares for her, and will be there for her. Her husband no longer fears intimacy, but longs to have it with her, sharing our lives together as you have shown we should. Lord continue to make me into the man and husband you would have me be, and our marraige into one of one flesh. I pray that you will heal and restore this marriage in your perfect timing. I pray that you will do the same for Ani, Amanda, Dee Ann, Melody, and others.

Father I just thank you for the changes you have made in me during this trial. Lord you have led me to fully surrender to your will. You have taken a selfish and self-centered man, replaced his heart of stone with one of flesh. You have created in me a new creature, one with a servant's heart and I thak you and give you all of the glory. It was only through your that I was ever able to change and I thank you for your holy spirit. Father I trust in you. Lord I have seen your miracles first hand and been touched and healed by you, so that I may believe. Lord I place our marriage, my wife, and our children in your capable and loving hands. I know that no matter what happens, you will take care of me. As it was written You have given me the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, and it will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:7)
Lord I ask your blessing upon my beloved wife and children. I trust in you to restore this marriage and ask the same for others in the same situation.

Father, thank you so much for even the little amount of time I was able to see my beautiful wife and the little man tonight, with our daughter too. Father thank you for working things out so that could happen. I hadn't seen her since before her surgery. Father even though she didn't kiss me like she did the last time I saw her, I still love her. She told me not to tell her that, but it is the truth and you know it, because you know my heart. It is ok Lord, I know how much I love her and it grows deeper all of the time.
Thank you again for the precious time I had with her, to touch her back and gently massage the tightness from her shoulders. It was hard for me not to just stare at her Lord. She is so beautiful to me and I see her through your eyes. I loved seeing the little man tonight, he is such a blessing. He brings so much joy to my heart and my life. To hear him tell me "I love you daddy" just made me smile so big.
It was just so wonderful, the whole family there in the same room, having some good time together, just as it should be. Thank you for showing me that. I pray that you are showing that to her heart. I pray that she will remember the good things and see how wonderful our marriage can be, through you. I let her know my heart, and let her know I am here for her, because I am. Even if she doesn't want to kiss me, or hear that I love her. It's ok, because it doesn't change except to grow stronger, because of you and the changes you made in me.

Father, thank you for this day. Thank you for all that you are. Thank you for the changes you have made in me. I thank you for you Son and my salvation. Father, thank you so much for my wife and family.
Lord I just ask that you guide me where you want me to be. Lord I know the changes you have made in me, that they are real, and that they were needed. Lord thank you. I have no idea what is truly in my wife's heart. I pray that you show both of us the things you want us to see in ourselves. Lord I am happy walking with you, and surrendered to your will. I feel I am right with you. I will continue to be here for my beloved wife.
I will continue to truly love her. I choose to follow your ways, not the world's ways. I may be laughed at, I may be ridiculed, I may be told I am crazy, but it doesn't matter. If she hurts me, I will love her still. If she uses me, I will still love her. If she want to take advantage of me, she will still have my love. My heart is true and you have shown me that. You have shown me your word, and I place my faith in you. When she comes back I will still be here for her, moving ahead and not looking back. Not bringing up anything in the past, just loving her, lifting her up, and being the husband that you want me to be. The husband she deserves to have and does have. I pray that one day she will understand that.
Lord I thank you for showing me things Lord. I was able to see things in myself. It is amazing how we all want to be loved unconditionally, but are we willing to love others unconditionally? I know I wasn't in the past, but truly do now.
I ask that you will heal and restore this marriage, in your perfect timing. Wash away any pain, pride, hurt, anger, or unforgiveness from our hearts. Lift up my other brothers and sisters going through similar trials. I lift up Ani, Amanda, Tamara, Robert, Dee Ann, Melody, and Kelly to you Lord.

Update - 8 months ago:
I am a little at a loss this Sunday. Wife contacted me via text message to ask if I was busy, and I let her know I was orking (at church) She mafe it seem like it was no big deal. I asked if she would like to get some dinner and catch a movie later and she responded taht she just wanted to sit down and talk with me. I am not sure where this will go and have this feeling of doom. I pray this will go well. Not sure when we will sit and talk. I have been praying before I answer her.
Update - 7 months ago:
I was so happy that recently, for the first time since my beloved moved out, she invited me over for dinner. I pray that she saw everythign in a positive light, that she saw the love in my eyes andfrom my heart.

Update - 6 months ago:
Unfortunately, things appear to have taken a turn for the worse. Communication has all but disappeared and she has had an abrupt change in behavior. I am praying that this is just revolving around spring break, however my heart is telling me otherwide. I pray that if she is seeing someone that the Lord witll convict each of their hearts and bring them closer to Him. If she is seeing someone else, it is not from God, no matter how she were to rationalize or justify. I pray for her salvation and I pray that I am not seeing the real her. Lord if it is pain, hurt, anger, or resentment causing this I ask that you wash it away.
Update - 6 months ago:
I want you to know, i am not giving up hope and am believing for a miracle from God. Things got progressively worse and she told me this morning she is refinancing her car and that she is filing for divorce when she can afford it. I have been falling apart piece by piece, knowing that I truly love this woman and hate that I ever hurt her. I wrote her a heart felt letter lsat week and she wrote me an email this morning. It is clear that she has resentment and is unforgiving of me. She acknowledged that I changed. But i guess she feels it is too late for that. Continue to pray for her, me, our marriage and our family.
I know this is a huge mistake and not what God wants.
I ask you to do one thing for me....please, if you do nothing else, take your spouse by the hand, look them in the eyes and tell them" i love you, despite our failings, depspite any problems we may have, I love you. i will not let those things to get in the way of that love, or the love of Christ in our lives". That is my prayer for you today. that you will do this for me, and for you.
Update - 6 months ago:
Well I wrote her and her response shows that she is closing every door. I am still believing in God and his ability and desire to fix this. I read through what she has to say and even though she says she forgives etc, there is so much more underneath. The supposed easy way out is the route she would rather take and it saddens me. I cannot change her nor do I want to, but I do want God to heal her heart with or without me. All I know is there is a difference between doing everything you can doing everything that you want or feel like doing. Unfortunately we are on opposite sides of that equation

Update - 6 months ago:
Things just seem to get worse. I found out this past week, she quit her job, apparantly changed her phone number, filed her taxes on her own, and confirmed that she is seeing someone else. Looks like they may even be setting up house as she is driving a new vehicle she can't afford and gave back her car that I have been paying on. I have been and will continue to be loving, kind, and civil, but the enemy has a tight grasp on her. She sees relationships as disposable and forgiveness too high a cost. I get nothing but anger and hurt and pain from her, even when she says she has forgiven me. I do not know what God has in store for me, but I know it will be great. I pray tha enemy will leave her alone, and he will not turn me from God. Thank you for your continued prayers and I still pray for the restoration of our marriage.
Update - 4 months ago:
Well I really hate to say it, but she sent me divorce papers last month. She has someone else in her life who is taking care of her. I am sure he is the one who got her new vehicle for her and she hasn't spoken to me since before spring break.
I have done everything I can and had turned it over to God a long time ago. I know things are in his timing. Not sure what his plans are for me, but I have made peace with the fact that she has left and is not coming back, without drastic divine intervention. Moving on with my life...not moving on as how it should be (with her by my side, as God would have it).
I do thank God for what he has done with me through this whole ordeal. He changed me. Jesus created a new person in me, he brought out all of those things that are loving and real and washed away the things that truly have no meaning.
I thank God for Ani and other brothers and Sisters out there. I still pray for you and hope that you will find yourselves centered in God's will for your lives. I pray that he will make the changes in you and your spouses that will bring you closer together and make mariage what He truly wants it to be, loving, unselfish, and together.

Lord speak to this women that forgieness is a wonderful thing, when it comes from the hearth it opens the well of love and blessings, it give a great peace inside and after that it is possible to strat from a clean table, everything will be clean and pure.

Lord God, even things seems to be hopeless and the doors shut, Lord, you still have control over this situation. Lord guide these two people to the right direction, Lord let your will happen. Lord, it is spring time and the ice is smelting, Lord, let the ice smelt in the heart of this women, Curt's wife. Lord she is not willing to try, but you Lord can convince her to do so, let the past be the past, forget all about the past mistakes and bad ways of the weak human nature, to let you to guide her, let you show her the way, the way to your presence, and back to her husband, Lord, you love her so much, and so does her husband. Lord he has been for so much help for me, Lord I ask you to show to this world, to people who are thinking that divorce is the answer to problems, Lord it is not, Lord you are the answer, you can change a man, we have to change ourselfs, not
change the marriage to another.
Lord you are the Master, you are the King, you can persuade Curt's wife to see and understand that she has a wonderful

I am trusting in the report of the Lord. For the devil has been beating me down. I am not believing in what he has to say as he is the author and father of all lies.
