My friend will see the oncologist today to set a plan of attack for her cancer, please keep her in your prayers...

Today, Mary, is undergoing "debulking" surgery, which is an extensive surgery that removes the cancerous organs and surrounding cells...please pray for positive result....thank you.

Found out today that Mary's surgeon removed all reproductive organs plus surrounding tissue and feels that she got most of the cancer..but some cells still remain in a fragile area and the surgeon thinks that the chemo will kill those cells. Chemo starts in 2 weeks...Praise be God...

Mary's pathology report came back and now the surgeon has told her that she actually has fallopian tube cancer, which is very rare and usually can't be diagnosed until surgery is done. Mary was moved to a regular room from ICU yesterday, her blood pressure had been stabilized and her pain was more controlled. She hopes to be released from the hospital on Saturday...thank you for your wonderful prayers!

Mary came home yesterday! She is weak and in pain, but prayerfully that will change...chemo starts in 7 to 10 days. Please pray for strengh and faith for Mary during this difficult time...Amen.

Mary was retaining a great amount of fluids(about 35 lbs)and went back to the hospital on Wednesday where they did a CT of her kidneys and measured the amount of fluid that she was retaining(turned out to be 4 1/2 liters). She's still in the hospital and they will start a lower dose of chemo tomorrow to start trying to rid her of cancer cells that had not been removed...if all goes well tomorrow, she hopes to be home on Monday to recuperate and get stronger before her next dose...please keep Mary in your prayers...she's just starting on her long and difficult journey back to being well again. Thanks.

Mary developed many small blood clots in her lungs and couldn't breathe so she was rushed back to the hospital, where she is now. She was scheduled for another dose of chemo today, but, that depends on the how the medication is working to dissolve the clots...

Mary was able to go home on Thursday. Next week see'll see her cancer doctor to schedule the next chemo treatment...

Mary is able to work up to 4 hrs a day now, she just had her 3rd chemo treatment, so far her body has been able to handle the chemo fairly well, she still has a problem with fluid retention, but not as bad as at the beginning of her illness...thank you for all your thoughts & prayers for Mary...I believe they're working!

Mary is feeling stronger and has the OK to go back to work full-time as long as she feels up to it. Her next chemo is this Wednesday...her marker numbers have dropped significantly, and her drs are hoping that the chemo continues to work. Blessed be God!!!
