Heavenly Father,
I stand in agreement with this prayer and ask that you embrace my friends in your loving arms and keep them from the harm that was being laid out here. Guide them with your shining light and let them know that you will always be there, to never lose hope. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Hey, Pat. GOOD to hear from you again. Long time.....yes, we do live in an increasingly darkening world. Last night I was fighting an epic battle with a vandal on prayabout. I'm sure you have heard of it. He was using a number of aliases and posting foul, obscene and blasphemous material, some of which was getting through (don't know how!) The devil, Jesus said "prowls around LIKE a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." When we are off our guard, he attacks, being basically a craven coward, and not able to fight straight one-on-one. (see LUKE 4.) Nevertheless, we are ALWAYS the winners, if we remain in Christ because "He that is in us, is greater by far than he that is in the world." Amen. Jesus said that as the world grew darker, we must shine brighter and brighter for Him, so folks can clearly see the difference between the world's way, and God's way, and His abundant life. The attacks strengthen us, and Jesus said "These things MUST happen" before He returns, like the labour pains before the birth of a beautiful child (see Matthew 24.) There are "signs" all around us, in this sad old world, that there is not much longer to go before He returns, so we must follow His instructions in MATTHEW 25, and get ready! Finally, my "bottom line" scripture is "Everything (absolutely EVERYTHING) works together for good, for those who Love God." This one ALWAYS gets me through! Sorry to hear of the premature death of your friend. As you so rightly say, life is brief, and we never know when we wake up just how many more days we'll see. There's a sobering thought to end on! Anyway, we can, at least, LOOK FORWARD to Paradise, our Heavenly home, and our eternal destiny where all suffering is finally over. Can't wait..........! Father , Please bless mommy2k by giving her the desires of her heart as she continues to love and serve You. Give her the total victory in all things including her walk with the LORD. I ask all these things in Jesus name. Amen
