Mom addicted to Fioricet Prayer Answered
Well, I quit being my Mom's medicine cabinet. She called to tell me this morning she was out, her doctor was out, etc. I told her I quit taking them to see if they were causing my headaches. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER. She is 90 next month and quite strung out on these things. I feel like I have sinned. It's the first time I can remember lying to my mother. I told her I didn't have any. I do but just quit taking them. Forgive me Lord though it was for her good.
Update - 5 months ago:
The doctor took them away from her period. She was abusing them so badly he had no other choice.

NANCY MY MOMMA WAS ALSO ADDICTED TO VICODEN AND I TO PLAYED TRICKS THAT I NOW FEEL GUILT FOR. I TOLD HER I GOT HER MEDICINE BUT GOT PILLS THAT LOOKED LIKE THEN WHICH WERE IBUPROFEN IT WORKED BUT SHE STILL HAD PAIN. THIS I FEEL SO BAD FOR BUT SHE WAS SO SLEEPY AND DOPEY ALL THE TIME AND SHE WAS NOT REALLY LIVING THIS WAY. SO I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. LORD I COME TO YOU IN THIS TIME FOR MY SWEET SIS AND TO PLEASE LET HER MOTHER BE HEALED OF THIS ADDICTION.AMEN
