P.U.S.H.-"PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS..."
Brothers & Sisters, if any of you know a word or two of prayer, please say it for me & my family. As you guys know, for a while, I prayed for a job to help out with finances. Well, a couple of months ago, I started working for an at-home national telemarketing & customer service firm. Everything seemed ideal at first--hours, pay, etc. But as the old saying goes, something that's almost too good to be true usually is. Since the holiday rush is over, the pay & the hours have gotten pretty rotten, and I am having to work most every weekend to make any kind of money. Having to deal with sometimes irate, rude people doesn't help matters, not to mention the obscene, vulgar calls that I frequently get. To make matters even worse, sometimes I have to sell some pretty offensive stuff, too nasty to even mention on here. I need a job badly, but this one is really starting to get on my nerves--not to mention my morals. As they say--WATCH WHAT YOU PRAY FOR! So once again ya'll, I am asking for your prayers in my pursuit of another job. I'm afraid that I'll have to deal with this one until I find something else, so any and all prayers & advice is MOST WELCOME & NEEDED!!! I am so depressed & aggravated right now, and no matter how hard I pray, I cannot shake these feelings! There seems to be a constant "cloud", a gloom, that is always hanging over me & my house, and I really believe that I can see it--even feel it!!! I don't know, but I really feel like I am being punished for something, and I keep asking the Lord what it is?! Maybe it's because of the working on Sundays, after He had blessed me with this job--I really don't know what to think anymore. But anyways guys, here I am again, AT YOUR MERCY, STANDING IN URGENT NEED OF PRAYERS!!! I have really missed being able to chat with everyone here, as this has been one of the only positive outlets that I have had lately. Please pray that God will deliver me unto something far better & greater, and more suitable for me! (I am an outgoing, people person, and all of this stress is really taking its toll) I am not selfish in my concern & prayers for others, and I will continue to lift those here and all who seeks God's guidance and care in my prayers. P.S.-recently, in the past couple of weeks, I had to endure a situation of enormous stress & contrition. Please pray with me for God to ease the pain & guilt, and hurt that I am experiencing from this...

Thanks so much to everyone who has been praying for us. Things are still not going very well, but I continuously hold on to the faith that God is going to work everything out for us. My work hours have tapered off quite a bit; I guess that's good, to a certain degree. However, I really needed the money, and now the only hours that are available are on Saturdays and Sundays, which I hate, ESPECIALLY SUNDAYS, and they have cut the pay rate somewhat. I try to keep the thought that something is better than nothing, but it is very hard. Just know that you are all in my prayers, and hopefully and prayerfully, "THIS TOO SHALL SOON PASS". Much love and prayers to you all; hopefully, this "dark cloud" that is hanging over me will soon disappear...Take care, until later...love, your sister in Christ--Pat

The following is a bible verse I read many times a day about 11months ago. Thank you for praying for me and having me in your thoughts. Me and my husband along with are son are one very happy family. Just always remember our God is a gracious and loving God he will never steer us wrong or give us more than we can handle. He will put trials in our life to get us to lean more on him. Everytime I go through a valley I remember the book of Job. Job lost everything he had and everyone in his family still he trusted that God wasn't going to lead him astray and in the end he was twice blessed.

Sister Pat, Reading your prayer I feel that we are twin sister with this similar situation. I am working at a call center and I am grateful for employment however, I do not like my job. So I feel your pain and depression as well. Remember to hold on to your faith and that God will never leave us nor foresake us. I am praying for the both of us that we are blessed with CAREERS!!!!!! and not a jobs. All this are possible with the help of the LORD. I have to encourage myself to start thank him and always praising him. Because you know what Sister Pat the victories is always ours. Lets us Let go and let God handle it.
