You know what they are going through and what the enemy has done to put up a block in their minds and hearts. Lord we pray that all strongholds are broken and negative influences removed and replaced with miracles, true miracles that can cause them to believe that is something only God can do. My sister Emanuelle ...I fervently stand in agreement with you as you pray to break the strongholds against Peter, Rod, and Chad....I'm trusting God as I know you are that He meets these men at the point of their needs and does His Perfect Work in their lives. I pray the blood of Jesus over them...a wall of fire and a hedge of protection...I also pray for the people in their lives to be delivered and walk the path our Father God has for them...May they hunger and thirst after the things of God...seeking Him and forsaking the snares the enemy has set for them...In Jesus' precious name I pray this. Agreeing with you for Peter, Rod and Chd, that the strongholds of the enemy, in their lives, be bound and broken, in the mighty and all-powerful name of Jesus, that the chains of sin and oppression would be unshackled, and that Jesus would set these captives free. Amen. Thanks for your message, Em. We can do nothing but speak the truth in Love, and stand on the Word of God. St. Paul said "When you have done EVERYTHING you can, then just STAND" (and wait for God to move.) It's heartbreaking to see others deceived, especially friends, and I have lost a few over Lakeland, but God says that only "Lovers of the Truth" will be saved from deception, and even then it will be a near thing! Soaking in the Word of God constantly is the surefire way to stay undeceived. Alarm bells will ring much more quickly when we contact something out of alignment with God's Word, however good and true it may APPEAR to us. These "checks" in our spirits are there to make us "check out" the truth of what we are seeing/hearing, and then make a discernment as whether it's true or false. Oftentimes we will be led quite a ways down the wrong track, because the first 60% sounds so correct......then comes the lie/deception! Mary Ann, from Intercessors for the Nations, was deceived for several months recently, and had to receive healing/deliverance to get free, and she is someone whose discernment I trust almost implicitly. "BEWARE NO ONE DECEIVES YOU!" It was no coincidence these were Jesus' FIRST words in replying to his disciples (Matt 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.) Hi Em. Thanks for your prayers. Yes indeed I've heard of Todd Bentley! I've received no end of e-mails telling me to have nothing to do with him/watching his videos etc. I was already suspicious because there was no reporting of any call to heartfelt repentance at Lakeland, nor any impassioned preaching of theTRUE Gospel (i.e. the WHOLE counsel of God = Heaven AND hell, the Love of God AND His wrath.) It seemed to me that people were getting their "ears tickled" as St. Paul put it, with a watered down cheap Grace and easy salvation message. Then I got reports that Todd watches (even now) ultra-violent wrestling videos and communes with dead spirits! That's when I really called a halt to exploring any further. Please e-mail Mary Ann at HeartforGod7@shaw.ca She will give you eyewitness reports, and there is a book on the truth at Lakeland just published. Mary Ann is a coordinator for Intercessors For The Nations.
