Several years ago a friend of my oldest sister had problems with her marriage similar to our husbands.She grew daily in the Lord,as he grew more worldly.He was drinking all the time and started fights with her constantly.One day he really got out of control and was cussing her without relief.She stood before him,silently praying to God to help her with stand the mental abuse.She said these words came to her and she replied to her husband "You don't like me very much right now,do you".She said he was so taken off gruard at her response,drunk as he was,as she left no room for him to say anything else.Though he never changed she grew in the understanding of how to be at peace with him as her choice was to remain in her marriage.He has since passed away,and she continues helping others in her then situation.Inner peace is the key to endurance.It takes a lot to develope that gift as we as humans are often too hurt or emotional and we forget our source of peace when satan's spirits attack us mentally.I pray that everyone in this area of need in their lives will pray in unity that we too will grow in the Lord enough to rest in Him as the storms blow.He is our light and our guidence.In Jesus name I pray for your husband that he too will find that same peace,as God loves him so very much.Believing and trusting in that divine love I am praying for him.

When i saw your prayer request I had to stop.Please dont let noone obbuse you for no reason.I am sure there is someone who is close to you that has told you this.You are a child of the most high God and that my sister is a blessing.If you have female children you are teaching them that this is aceptableand if you have male children you are teaching them that its okay to treat someone this way.Pleaseput your children first and I wil pray for you to seek understanding and the most high blessings from our God who is the most merciful

Dear sister, I hope you are allright. Trust God, he can change your husban's heart. I am happy that you are staying strong and keep your hope and trust in God, even the devil tries to press you down and uses your husband as the vapen.
Lord God place your power, lovung hands upon this sister, fill her heart with your love, power, faith and strength. Lord keep her close to you and guide her everyday and give her strength and wisdom to face all the hard situations and words. Lord change the hear of her husband, Lord make him for a new man, save his soul, pull him close to you. Reading your prayer request was like reading my own words.Never have I heard my own heart so clearly though another persons need.Instead od dewelling on the situation,we are going to pray our way through.I will be your special prayer partner if you like.No matter I will keep you in my every prayer.I also live in Louisiana.I want to share something I just read.I pray we can see good out of every word.

Dear God I pray that you move on the husband...convict him and lead him to repent of sins against his wife. I pray that he opens his heart to listen to the Lord..and learn how to love his wife like Christ loves the church. I pray that he starts to seek the Lord out in his life and that he joins his wife in church. I also pray that he stops verbally abusing his wife. I will pray for you. I was married to someone like that for 24 years. It finally ended because it takes two people to make a marriage work and in my case there was only one. I pray for you that your husband's heart softens and is convicted by the Lord. I pray that your husband will want to work with you and with God to make things better. Good Luck and God Bless.

I pray that your husband will stop the abuse. I pray that he will deal with his anger, and stop. I pray that you have the strength to deal with this. I know he will change I pray that he does.

Dear codermd;There is no request to small and yours is not small at all ifact it is very big,you are in an abusive relationship,wheather it be verbal or physical it is abusive,Your husband has a lot of issues and he is misdirecting his anger,and you should not allow yourself to be treated this way,so long as you continue to stay there without getting help it will not get better,unless he gets the help he needs.to many of these cases have turned out not good,you need to speak to someome right away.I am happy your faith is strong and keep praying to the lord,but in the same time you need to get help,people need to teach people how to treat them, and this is very unhealthy for you,it can make you physically ill,not to say how it lowers your self esteem terribely, you are a child of God this is your life to, and you owe it to yourself to be happy,If you are afriad don't be, there are many places that will help you,and if you love this man,you need to fix this and gain back the respect you deserve,then you can help him or not, but you need to talk to someone please,I will keep you both in my prayers,
