I ran into an old boyfriend whom I haven't seen for 10 years or more. I am 45 years old. I dated him steady when I was 20 yrs. old for 2 years (1983 to 1985)and we got back together a lot for the next 11 years or so. He asked me to marry him in 1994 and I wanted to marry him but there was something more I wanted him to show me because of our immaturity back then. It was a total accident that we bumped into one another..I thought he was in florida and he thought I was still in Texas. Seeing him helped me heal faster from my abuser. I realize how gentle, kind, peaceful and caring this guy was. Throughout the years I have thought of him often and I often miss him. His family and my family had been friends forever. (1983 up to even now),. His sister still calls me. We are alike in that we are both easy going and easily taken advantage of. People always told us that we look like brother and sister and that we act the same. His name is John. The only difference is that I have more backbone and won't allow myself to be controlled forever. We are not opposites at all..we are very similar. Anyway, after seeing him by accident, I realize I love this man more than anything in the world. I have missed him so much and have learned to cope with it. Seeing him brought back so much pain. My prayer for him and for I is that John and I's relationship will be restored and if it has always been GODs perfect will for us to be together, that our relationship will be restored this year. No matter what I will always love this man untill the day I die. He was in my life for a long time and I always loved him...we were young and immature and we made the same type of foolish decisions . John asked for my number and called me the very next day. I just want restoration for all the devil stole as long as it was GODs perfect will for my life. I am very sad because I love him so much and cannot picture life without him. But if fate is for us..Great! Only God knows..hopefully...I miss and love him so much. (Rhonda and John)
