"I have hidden YOUR WORD in my heart, that I might not sin against You." (Psalm 119 verse 11.)

"For the WORD of GOD is living and active, sharper tha a two-edged sword. It cuts between soul and spirit, joints and marrow,, exposing our innermost thoughts and desires." (Hebrews Chapter 4 verse 12)

The WORD of GOD has supernatural POWER, to overcome all manner of temptations, sin and evil. It was with the Word of God ONLY that Jesus defeated the devil in the wilderness, even though He (Jesus) was at death's door through fasting for 40 days! (Matthew 4, Mark 1 and Luke 4)

In Ephesians 6, the Word of God is called the "SWORD of the SPIRIT" and is the only offensive spiritual weapon we possess, but, it is mighty and powerful for "tearing down strongholds" of sin in our lives.

We also need to (spiritually, in prayer) apply the BLOOD of CHRIST, and use the NAME of JESUS, as weapons, in order to be victorious in our christian life, because we are in a spiritual battle with the "principalities and powers of darkness," who will do everything in their power to make us disbelieve that we are of any use or value to God.

Finally, it is through His Holy Word that God will often speak to us, and also confirm to us what we need to know/do, in order to fulfill our destinies in Him.

Dear Father,
Please take my precious sister by the hand and guide her down the path which you have chosen for her. Ease her troubles, give her strength to overcome all obstacles put before her. I pray in Jesus' mighty name. Amen
