Recovering alcoholic husband
Please pray for my husband. He has been alcohol-free for 18 months. He has been looking for a job for a little over 1 year with no luck. Many interviews, with no offers. I feel him slipping into depression which I am afraid he will turn to alcohol again. His liver was failing, so he can never drink alcohol again otherwise it will kill him. I ask others to help me in praying for my husband Chris that he will find a job and regain his self-worth.

I am a recovering alcoholic myself with 3 years sobriety next month. It is very important for your husband to attend a 12 step recovering group AA to help see that he is not alone. And a bible based church worked wonders for me too!
Father God:
I humbly come to you asking that you help this man to find a job. I ask you to be with this wife so that she can support her husband during this time. I ask that you remove any depression that this man might be feeling. I ask that you guide this man thoughts, feelings, and actions, and that you keep him sober so that he can be the husband that this woman deserves. In Jesus Name I Pray AMEN!!!
