Faith in God

"Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not on thy own understanding."

I believe that God is Faithful, but I also believe that we need to be faithful to God. We want so many miracles from him, but are we doing our part? Are we giving him thanks in all things? Are we meditating on his words? Are we doing things in our lives that is pleasing to him? Are we seeking forgiveness? Are we seeking his face first and foremost in all things?

Sometimes we may not get what we want and it hurts, but God wants what's best for us and sometimes down the road we see why we didn't get what we asked for. We need to trust in our Lord and Adore him and give him thanks, praise, and glory for all that he is and for all that he has done.

"Our Heavenly Father, I thank you for your mercy and grace. I pray for each person here on this site that you would put your loving arms around each of them and give them strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. In your most holy and honorable name, Jesus Christ, I give you all the thanks, praise and glory and I love you with all my mind, heart, body, and soul Amen."

In agreement, in Jesus name. Amen. FaithinGod, I know for a fact, that as I look back on my life, I can see where sometimes, I did not get what I wanted and God removed a bad influence from my life, or else if something was hard to obtain or troublesome, God was trying to tell me it was not best for me, and I could have been spared a lot of pain. I think it boils down to accepting that sometimes in life, even if we don't understand, there is a reason why we may not get what we want. May keep you and your loved ones, in his loving care. Thank you for the reminder! I get so caught up in what is going on with my dad that I forget to praise God. I just pray for my dad's healing and I have fallen down on the praise and meditating on his word. With all that is going on I think that I'm short changing God and I need to do more for him.
